Both when they were originally empowered and when Kalecgos was empowered there was a convergence of the moons, that is a solar eclipse with both moons aligned.

Draenei are just built different. Functionally immortal natty

The lightforged make sense. But are the normal Draenei immortal? I thought they just lived very long lives, like around 20k. At least that's what it said in the wow wiki but idk how true that is.

What about the Man'ari?

Worgen are supposed to get Gilneas back at some point. And it's going to be an in-game event too.

Unfortunately, they didn't say that exactly. It's a common mistake. People were asking why Gilneas wasn't retaken during the time skip, so the official response was an event like that would be something they'd rather play out in game *if* (not when) it happened. As a former Worgen main, I'd love to see it. But has yet to be officially confirmed as planned.

The Kalecgos one is in the Tarecgosa legendary questline.

well well well, two possible theories:

1. New Moon could mean a "recent moon", basically Azeroth gets a new moon, maybe Ysera?

2. New Moon could indicate the lunar phase, the dark one. Iridikron and Knaifu do something to Elune and we must save her

The cutscene is tied to chapter 6, the post-raid chapter, titled New Beginnings.
It's gonna be the epilogue to the nelf story +/- Aspects

Correct. Draenei are an extremely long-lived species, to the point where they may as well be considered immortal.

All demons are immortal beings, so I would assume the same holds true for the Man'ari as they are Eredar who were corrupted into demons.

I have a better theory.

New Moon just means Elune shows up in some way, and uses Amirdrassil to bless/empower the Aspects once more. The Oathstones will likely be utilized as well. So, basically, it'd be the Player Characters experiencing the Embrace in game.

Man, that's nervewracking. Elune feels like one of the last huge mysteries in this world, and I don't know if it needs to be solved.

It would certainly raise the stakes. Not sure what it would do in his gambit towards the Titans, but I guess it could be worked in someway.

Before Dragonflight launched, Ion said that we'd know who the major threats and final boss of the expansion would be by the end of the first raid, which with hindsight clearly meant one of the incarnates. At this point it's pretty clear we're not going to be fighting Vyranoth, or Iridikron again until at least 11.0.

The AOTC achievement for Amirdrassil gives a mount, which has been the case for all final raids since WoD with the moose.

We got the permanent augment rune, another mainstay of final patches.

It's pretty obvious there's not going to be another raid.

What if Elune or some other Life God intervenes, making the Aspects get their powers but creating some event that Iridikron wanted to bring the Titans' attention?

Having Fyrakk getting moonbeamed would surely be a fun cinematic. It would be the 4th ending where the final moments of the expansion ends with someone getting beamed
