My husband quit and has no interest in playing I've spoken about the possible new expansions with him he said he'll watch but if it's Underground he has a simular opinion to me, my guild died in 10.0 with the introduction to Zaralek, im online on my own most days and yes I play every day as I bought a yearly sub (won't be doing that again) and just got tired of looking at the mess of characters.

The whole reason behind the Rustbolt Rebellion was to stop King Mechagon from trying to turn everything into machines. We've seen this stuff before in WoW with some beings trying to reverse the Curse of Flesh, but we've never seen it done manually without the aid of Titan Keepers or the Djinn like with the Tol'vir.

You're forgetting what Gnomes were before the curse. Mechagnomes are a throwback. Not further progress. Also, this was the second time Blizzard did that story, though the questline in WotLK was far less elaborate.

Uh they already started doing it in BFA, since Crappolis and the Motherlode was literally Goblins returning to Kezan. The only part we're missing now is Undermine itself.

Well the quote was specifically talking about player Goblins, not the Goblin race as a whole whom are mostly still neutral. Goblin players still cannot easily access Kezan, and can't access Undermine at all. Lorewise, the Goblin race easily accesses both areas, essentially making Undermine something along the lines of Kul'tiras before BFA.

And yeah, it's important to note that Undermine is on that map, and was on pretty much every early WoW map.

This doesn't change much. As soon as the heroic mount was exposed I & others have said, if it's not a world revamp its going to be either Underground expansion or 'secret western titan continent' which appears to be the idea behind the original "ulduar"

Either Support DPS is going to become a spectrum (aug is extreme support while shadow priest is very light support) or they only plan on adding one other augmentation-like spec. A 5-man group with 3 augmentation dps doesn't quite work right.

What would be the reasoning behind that given the locations pedigree in Warcraft lore (and them saying that they're going to do it)?

Yeah I also bought the yearly sub. BTW, did you receive the cool 6 month sub flying fish mount? Because I did not, and I guess that as part of being subscribed for a year, we should have received, right?

Also, I do not understand how could you manage so many characters. I have so many things to do in my DH. I just level some classes for achievements and utterly destroy them after said achievement is done.

Ironically, an underground expansion could be your favorite expansion ever, and you're not even giving it a chance.

Your choice of course. I would just say if it does turn out that 11.0 is underground, don't throw everything away, just sit out an expansion and come back in 12.0.

There is no particular reason to believe they would any time soon. And you're way overselling what they actually said. They were interested in doing it about 20 years ago. What we got in Cata is the likely result of that.

This isn't so weird. Streamers who spend all their time leveling characters periodically delete a ton of characters.

But I would say as someone who plays both Wrath & DF: The wrath players are constantly complaining about retail...even though they haven't played Dragonflight at all. There's such strong nostalgia blindness because Wrath is far from perfect.

We’d sooner get another cosmic / inter-planetary expansion than an underground one I think.
Blizz has shown that they can do cosmic / inter-planetary right through expansions like Legion.

Yet I don’t think there’s been any well received underground content.

What I want from BlizzCon for Warcraft:

• WoW 11.0: Tempest (or whatever they call it) CHECK
• Warcraft Chronicles on Netflix HOPEFULLY
• WoW Classic: Cataclysm CHECK
• Warcraft 3: Reforged 2.0 CHECK (90% chance IMO, would be cool if they add a new campaign that somehow ties with 11.0)
• Warcraft 1 & 2: Reforged NO
• Hearthstone Overhaul + New Expansion NO / CHECK
• Rumble New Continent DON'T CARE
• Heroes of the Storm 2.0 NO (too soon, maybe in the future)

Anyway we are just 2 weeks and a half away from Blizzcon.

I am pretty sure that every leak has been absolute bullshit. They might get something right because for sure we are getting a revamp or going to Avaloren, there are high chances to get some new specs, etc. But everything is made up. But the REAL leak is coming ¡¡ Just some more days and we should start to see interesting stuff that WoW desperately needs, because right now 10.2 seems meh and 11.0 is far far away. 10.2.5 better be really good.

If you cancelled your sub like I did we do not get it as your sub has to be actively reoccurring, I thought I would have gotten it aswell but alas, I did not.

I hold no attachment to the characters I've had as my friends swapped factions and changed servers so frequently I didnt build the attachments, the only Characters I have attachments to are my 2 hunters both Horde and Alliance that I'd never delete because they've always been my safety net to go back to.

IMO the only way of getting an Underground expansion (we are not getting one, but just for the sake of discussion) would be if it is just another continent, but underground, with its own sea surrounding it, its own peculiar very big and open sky which we cannot reach.
