It has Merithra instead of Ysera. I thought they were bringing Ysera back.

Because Merithra is the new Green Dragonflight Aspect, and Ysera isn’t. Why would they completely invalidate their new Aspect like that? That isn’t how to build a character. It essentially tells us that she doesn’t matter.

Ysera is likely going to play a role in the future expansion in regards to the green dragon flying to Avaloren and starting a new flight there.

Ysera is definitely tied to 11.0 as she has zero purpose so far in DF and they wouldn't rewrite her entire story over some twitter butthurt (unlike what a lot of people believe, regarding Merithra being aspect, many people think it was a hard pivot based on the reactions to datamining... while Merithra being aspect was set up in BFA)

Probably because they are going to reveal the tree or something big at Blizzcon that connects the two expansions.

The raid wouldnt even be out. I struggle to imagine what could show up at the patch launch that would actually give us a substantial hint at anything.

The wowhead summary makes that inference in their write-up of the in-game book. But the book does not explicitly say that.

I don't see her in 11.0. I see her stepping back into the Shadowlands in 10.2 or a half patch thereafter so that her daughter can truly have the reins.

Could be Un'goro on account of it being a crater. Could be in Scholazar on account of it being a crater, having water in the middle, and being personally overseen by Freya.

It will be wherever the writers say it is, and will just pretend like the other options were just coincidentally similar.

Why would she be brought back/Malfurion sent away only for them to instantly revert it without Ysera doing anything? Twitter doesn't have the power to abort a storyline like that.

There is a conspiracy that Ysera was originally intended to come back and be Aspect again, but because the questline was datamined and people were complaining/assumed that Merithra was being ignored, they changed the quest at the last minute so that Merithra was aspect. This would be why Ysera is on the loading screen and has a fancy model despite doing basically nothing in Dragonflight.

I think her being planned for a multi-expansion Elune story makes more sense than that conspiracy.

Bringing Ysera back like that and then immediately backpedaling on the decision was probably the most disappointing part about Dragonflight questing. Either bring her back fully or don't do it at all. Nobody cares about Merithra.

It really feels like nobody actually paid attention to what happens during that story. Ysera made it very clear she's not taking the leadership role again and it's also clear her presence is only temporary, as is Malfurion's stay in the Shadowlands.
