Continent is a pretty arbitrary term to begin with. "What a continent actually is" is rather iffy even in real world terms. They're not meaningfully different from islands.

Sure, if you have the creativity of a turnip. I mean in TFT all of Outland looked like Hellfire Peninsula, yet they managed to diversify it. The old team, I mean.

They can keep the cycle going but change up what they're made of. Not all of them follow it though they have the past few years at least, with the water tiger and rabbit and all.

Next year's a wood dragon, then wood snake, fire horse, fire goat, earth monkey, earth rooster, etc.

Fortunately in BfA you got plenty of Sylvanas, Nathanos, Saurfang, Baine, Talanjii, Lor’themar and Thalyssra whilst Jaina was contained on the alliance side.

    Legion she wasn’t even present.
Jaina literally carried the story in every faction war plot. And she soloed the Ardenwald invasion while Baine did nothing. And his sidequest with Bovan was a failure too.

FFXIV actually went there with the relevant new year celebrations. And had the samurai dude being actually surprised nobody was interested in his big yellow cock. Not even joking.

Probably, i guess they will keep doing that for all other games.

2029 tho... Damn, they will have like 10 different classic versions by this time.

I'd say Genn carried it mostly in BfA. Mostly cause Jaina got herself imprisoned the moment she set foot on Kul Tiras, so the logistics were left to GG.

The problem with the Dream is that it is explicitly pretty much the same everywhere. So unless the place gets completely wrecked with 4 different invasions going on simultaneously, that's going to be difficult.

She orcestrated the purge of Dalaran and led the invasion of the troll city. Bovan is dead and his tribe is without a leader. If Blizzard tried to make look Baine competent and cool they really failed at that.

I think it was intended to make Sylvanas cause morally gray: the afterlife not being a good place after all, and you just go to be a cog in the machine AGAIN (this time for all eternity).

From a horde perspective.. she was everywhere. I rarely saw Genn, only a handfull of moments.
Also the ingame cinematics.. it was mostly her forefront. Genn even gave the order to strike Rastakahn and Jaina still managed to get into hes death cinematic.

I do remember I was so tired of her.. still am tbh. From the Mana shooting beams on a freaking flying ship to being pressent at the final of Azshara. At some moments I would have glady seen some other lore character that had more meaning to that moment then Jaina.. but hey what ever.

This is the same as every expansion since, except titanforging in Legion made it so the baseline level of gear did not feel good. Also, relics were a lowkey massive mistake in gearing. Getting new weapons feels *good* because suddenly your numbers are just bigger, it's one of the most satisfying upgrades to get. But relics split that across multiple pieces of loot which dilutes that feeling, and on top of that the trait they buffed mattered more which meant there were times where even stuff like a 40 ilvl upgrade did not matter.

Emerald Nightmare and Antorus were two of the easiest raids we’ve had. Mythic+ dungeons in Legion were also the easiest we’ve had until DF.
This doesn't really have anything to do with gearing

There was absolutely zero wrong with artifact power aside from the 0.01% feeling the need to farm Maw of Souls and those that felt like they should copy them, for no reason.
It was not fun to want to play a spec only to realize I had to grind 2 million artifact power to get the cool, fun traits. Even ignoring the sweaty math it felt very bad.

It was just objectively more work than any other expansion to get a character to a point where it felt fun (not bis or anything close to that, just fun), which is why they made the entire AP system trivial by the end of the expac.

In all seriousness, it does feel like 11.0 will be a middle expansion in a trilogy. The Elune creating Naaru thing is an interesting angle I've never heard. I'll keep standing by my opinion that Elune is unlike anything else in the WoW universe, and possibly more dangerous than all of which we know. She seems to be one of the only entities unaligned to a single cosmic force, but taking from multiple.
Maybe Illidan coming back as a sort of Sargeras' keeper?

I'm pretty sure that Genn was in Dazar'alor more than Jaina except for the boss fight.

Like, the gnome leader had as much screen time as Jaina, IIRC.

I wonder if there will be a copyright with the title of the expansion soon. Did it take this long for older expansions?
    Ideas:
    Self Adventuring
    PVP Public Events
    World Projects

It's the same plague over all the industry, not just RTS and cRPGs.

I believe they've shifted to doing it (or it being noticable) a day or two before to the day of.

Title leaks by trademark are not as common, anymore. Dragonflight's title leaked by website code, instead, for instance.

The autumn colors should've been integrated into Ardenwealds base design.
Could've had us start out in an autumn themed starting location, and then have the zone progressively shift into winter and dark blues.

The Drust destabilizing the realm into a harsh, corrupt, uninhabitable Blizzard, in contrast to the calm, cold, snowy winter night, would've made a lot more sense and be visually a lot more impressive.
I think the idea was o try to put in images the concept of "life after death, rebirth". And they tried to paint it as a blue, cold, alien nature, but still alive. So then dying and becoming grey and absent of color and vibrancy makes sense.
