None of the desert zones in WoW can be really tied to Elune or the moon in general.
Uldum is heavily egypt, heavily titan and lots of sun motifs. Silithus has at most the war of the shifting sands, which got a lot of night elf involvement, but was more of a dragon thing.

Expecting writers to adhere to stuff that was conceived like 15 years ago is absurd and insanity.

Retcons are not necessarily a bad thing. Most of the time people complain about retcons it's just cinemasins-tier nitpicking.

To be fair, Metzen was the equivalent of a rockstar. He could go "oopsie" and no one batted an eye, no, instead we loved him for it. Current writers are crucified for the slightest perceived inconsistency based on context-less datamining.

True. That is my dilemma as well. Maybe we can get a new desert. A more moonie desert.

Moonie desert? so a white desert? like, a snow desert? That's what that eclipse leak had, a snow zone right? and it was tied to moon stuff.

All these Eclipse leaks had good parts that would be nice to have. I would prefer really sand desert, maybe a whiter variety but even that isn't a must. Just have desert people that worship Elune. That would certainly be an interesting departure from the more vegetation-heavy environments she is mostly worshipped.
Egypt kinda fits old gods as well. C'Thun was discovered under Silithus and Uldum was one of the zones reused for N'Zoth. Not to mention Black Empire architecture is very much: Ancient Egypt just black.

The occasional retcon is one thing, frequently retconning major lore is a whole other thing.

    And is a major issue

“[Sprucecrown] gives you this buff called Lone Wolf’s Courage. You’re trying to do this alone? Good for you! Have this massive buff. You get really strong and really powerful so you’re actually able to solo the elite. It only happens if you have a couple of people, or if you’re completely alone–as soon as there’s more people around, the buff doesn’t happen. It’s just to help those smaller groups still have that epic moment, so we don’t take that huge battle away by spawning a weaker creature. Instead, you get to be even cooler.”
Good change for the 10.2 event. Wish that they also apply this to the rest of the events of previous patches.

I feel like those will be easy to solo for anyone by late DF or early 11.0, either by natural power increase or through nerfing health pools.

Also aww, just noticed the latest build changed the phrasing of the Druid customizations again, from "Full Transformation - X" to "[Animal] Form - X". There goes my sliver of hope of detailed customization on the other forms, mostly to be able to hide the nose ring on Tauren Cat Form.

Definitely a fantastic change. Hopefully it assumes the person is also a fairly fresh character for 10.2 and not someone with raid quality gear and tier pieces.

For future patch features I do hope they go a bit more varied than just waves if enemies. Races and minigames are fun as well.

I'm sorry, but where was this information? There hasn't been anything that links the Twilight's Hammer to the Primalists.

The only thing that was found about the Twilight's Hammer in DF was a faction of Black Draknoids (called the Worldbreakers) who still believed Deathwing will destroy the World, but thanks to us we found out that they were being lead on by an ogre of the Twilight's Hammer.

Zaralek rares have like 15m health. The researchers under fire event has objectives that are so widely spread that even if you try and do it next xpac and you are nearly oneshotting everything, it will still be very hard to complete everything in time.

it's not absurd. it's not like they're changing details here and there. they're changing what should be the pillars of the lore of this game.

We could have Dark Trolls worshipping Elune. In my version of Warcraft (what I used when I was playing it as a TTRPG) I had a clan of Dark Trolls that worshipped Elune and a few Hyjal Ancients as Loa that lived in the Hyjal Barrows with a cliff city on the northern side of the mountain.

I myself know from a pre-launch interview where this was mentioned, but sadly I can't find it atm via Google. I did however find this comment mentioning a quest that shows some Twilight's Hammer involvement in the Primalists.

I hope that's the case. It'd be more interesting if Lothraxion not only betrayed the Legion, but Denathrius as well.
She said he chose...pretty sure he even stated himself it was a choice

And you are really trusting the word of a dreadlord?

Nah, he is Dwnathrius'es double wnt like the rest of them. Those with more rigid worldviews like the Light are just th much easier to dupe when you say what they want to hear.

Oh I am fairly positive there is Elune worship among trools. They just use a different name. I mean it would be weird for them not to have a lunar deity. Especially since Night Elves are just mutated trolls. There is no reason to think Elune only started paying attention to them post-change.
