If it’s a dungeon, then at that points it’s not “brawler’s guild”.

If it's that old then it sounds like Brawlers Guild and they are taking their sweet sweet time on it because it's going to be permanent (per dev interviews).

So is SOA legit? Honestly its 50/50 Shadow and Secret then. Shadow is more likely as it has been referenced as a filename this year.

No clue, if the D4 expansion leak (which we know happened) does indeed contain those files, if the 'leak' wasn't made based on/inspired by those files (it was posted ~2 weeks after the expansion was pushed to CDN) AND the author didn't come up with SoA for shits and giggles, which is a lot of ifs, then maybe the expansion can indeed be abbreviated to SoA, but I wouldn't automatically award a ton of credence to all leaks that have that.

Brawler’s guild wouldn’t be a dungeon, nor would it have the different difficulties like the dungeons.

Depends on what they're doing with it. They could be turning it into something akin to the Mage Tower but not tied to any specific expansion. So something you queue into. That would ruin the entire point of it and what made it fun but it is a possibility.

As much as I'm on team revamp and want one badly... I don't trust this.
Mythic+ for old dungeons is a dead give-away for it being fake. Blizz has stated that they can't do Mythic+ on old dungeons because they play so differently than what modern dungeons do nowadays. Not unless they fully revamped some of them or create entirely new dungeons based within the old dungeons...

adding m+ to every old dungeon it's a lot of fucking work. every dungeon needs to be modified and every bossfight needs to be reworked to fit the m+ standards.

There's no reason old dungeons can't be updated to be able to support M+

I went back and watched the source video for the D4 leak again and slowed it down. I think the data is probably real. It's logical that Kurast and Mephisto would be next, and the Church of the Light was founded in Kurast. Possible segue to introducing a new holy class. There's also empty space on the map for Kurast.

I think the leak is definitely fake. The video and the leak came out the same day. I thnk the poster watched the video and wrote the leak using ChatGPT and keywords from the video. I think they added the line about WoW to draw in a larger audience.

There's no mention in the data or video of Nahantu, glaives, or half of what's detailed in the leak. The only data that mentions the Spirtborn class involves wings and flying animations and something about armor thorns. They could be angelic in origin, and thorns damage was a major Paladin/Crusader mechanic for certain builds in D2 and D3.

There are also very few lines regarding the Spiritborn class compared to all the other classes so it may be a placeholder name.

That might work for the Cata dungeons, but the original classic dungeons are a whole other story (Blackrock Depths, Zul'Farrak, Wailing Caverns, Stratholme, Dire Maul, Maraudon)

That might work for the Cata dungeons, but the original classic dungeons are a whole other story (Blackrock Depths, Zul'Farrak, Wailing Caverns, Stratholme, Dire Maul, Maraudon)

All of those are prime for a rework and if we get a revamp would likely be among the roster of new dungeons.

Well minus BRD. I genuinely don't see them ever touching it, it's just too iconic in it's current form in a way no other classic dungeon is.

6 years is a long time in consumer memories, plus it makes sense for a revampy kind of thing.

There was a lot of negativity involved with BFA but a lot of intrigue as well. Also... it could be the first expansion that REALLY follows up on the worldly consequences of BFA, so it could be intentional.
