The issue i have with that line of thinking is that it edges closer to assuming a world revamp will make the same mistake Cataclysm did by not utilizing the world revamp.
Any new and unique endgame zone in a world revamp is one less chance to use older zones, and maybe that is a good thing, maybe it isn't.
I would however rather a world revamp at least try to utilize the zones it revamps.

I don't see Blizzard using Vahj'ir and Deepholm for a revamp.
Deepholm is too out of the way, and we know how Vashj'ir ended up in cata.
So maybe Khaz Algar could be a Vashj'ir/Deepholm replacement that they can dress up as the shiny new expansion location.
A megazone consisting of 2-3 smaller zones, deep underground.
If Magni's involved, how about "Snorting of Azerite"?

Same. Vashj'ir is one of my favorite zones/magazines. The music, art, and story are so cool.
I think they could do it better now with the tech and experience they have, as well as graphical elements they couldn't really do before without making stuff clunky.
I wish we had a Vashj'ir zone that was more on the sandbox side like patch zones are done.
