We don't need Ancient Kalimdor to be able of continuous travel (and one map would probably be very problematic for so many reasons; there are probably engine limitations on the size of areas anyway)
Use the Zaralek technology to transition from map to map using sea borders; use skybox illusions for the neighbouring continent outlines and maybe fogbanks/storms.
Then you can join every map by water border proximity by extending the fatigue borders of the continents further using Island Expeditions. If you place Jorundall on either the EK or the Broken Isle map, you could have people flying from Stormheim to Jorundall and then to Silverpine; Gilneas could have multiple islands below it (the channel isles) with Tol Barad, Zul'dare and Crestfall forming a line that leads you to Kul Tiras. Zandalar can be linked to Pandaria with Snowblossom Isle. You really can just connect the entire known areas by using Island Expeditions as stops.

I hope you are right tbh. I want Algar to be a small continent on its own or just a zone in a revamp xpac. We can do Avaloren in 12.0.

new expansion

I have to say, there is a difference between an area and its questlines introducing the character and culture of the locals and with it telling the history of the area. Cataclysm Tirisfal did a great job of telling you the character of the Forsaken; it gave you the many different archetypes that they belong to, cleanly defined. It did not need to focus on the history of the race to tell you what the race was about.
No. Stop wanting expansion content being cut down to patch content. If the game wants to survive 20 more years maybe we shouldn't waste stuff that way anymore? Shadowlands was fine, lore AND zonewise, the only problem was the fucking content draught aswell as the initial dumb covenant restrictions and that they had to clear up the mess of BfA.
The only thing that could have been improved is Korthia, making it a real city, and maybe a side patch dealing with Thros.
Btw ESO IS adding the Torghast/Island expedition solo/small group progression system
Endless Archives can be done solo, with your mercenary or with a friend, is endless and you are fighting waves of enemies using pretty much every type of enemy in the game; it goes 2 trash waves and then 1 boss and they are releasing it with over 60 different bosses using the models and abilites of a variety of world bosses and dungeon bosses. Goes without saying for ESO that it rewards gear and cosmetics.

Did you really just say the only thing that could be improved in SL was Korthia. lmao.
The SL i mentioned would have way less lore problems, and would keep death a mystery which is good for the franchise PLUS keeps it open to do an actual Shadowlands in the future too.
