I know. They still look dwarven to me, especially the giant crown. That’s why I said they LOOK, and not they ARE I’ve done a lot of work in production design, so the way it looks and is perceived is what I’m commenting on. Same idea as, “it’s not what you say but how you say it.”

Dwarven style has a very specific look, its usually geometric patterns, lots of square edges, runes that are very much nordic-esque, and norse/celtic-styled knotwork patterns - you dont usually see any designs that are pointy or sharp in dwarf stuff

It was slightly insane to expect the official Warcraft account posting images that aren't carefully vetted. But I guess slight insanity is the general throughline of these speculation threads.

I must assume they're very much aware of the Algarian Stormrider leak and aware that they need to be very careful to avoid any additional possibly compounding leaks.

What? It was a photo about Blizzcon props and then the resulting discovery that the props are based on the Bronze flight architecture from Thaldraszus/the dungeon.

Y’all are missing the point of what I’m saying and being really nasty in the process.

I know it’s draconic. But since I’ve built a lot of sets and props in my career, I’m saying that I don’t think they did as good a job as they could have and it looks a bit dwarven. This is personal taste. I’m not saying they ARE dwarven and I think I’ve been clear about that. I’m saying the production quality could have been better. That’s all.

To direct the conversation a bit - I dont think the props point to 11.0 but I do find it interesting that this blizzcon is highly themed and they went with the time corridor. I would imagine it would feature something for all the xpack since they already have props pre-made such as Arthas sword, groms axe etc.

I wonder if this leads into the heroes rest which might also be time themed?
