I wonder if the trading post in November will be extra stacked to spend our preorder tendies?

Exactly. I mean we have yet to read all the book, but I think that it would be kind of stupid of Blizzard to keep showing Vyranoth as a mortal enemy of Order when she turned on all that in an instant in the game.

Now, if Vyranoth were to betray us, and we get to learn that from the book just 3 days before Blizzcon reveals us what is next... Well, I would certainly take my hat off to Blizzard.

Order is supposed to be arcane, but these days it is more like divine magic (holy+arcane). I still stand by my theory that Order has been subdued by Light, since you rarely (if ever) see a single blue/purple spell being used, just holy, holy, and more holy.

All of the now-available information raises a very important question.

Tyr was okay with entrusting the fate of Azeroth to the mortals, the majority of whom were maimed (from the Order's point of view) by the curse of flesh and now were much more vulnerable to the Void which was still very much present on Azeroth.

And yet, that said vulnerability to the chaos is the exact reason he supposedly went to hell and back to have as much of the dragonkind as possible Ordered or to have as many of them remain Order-aligned, when he payed barely no heed to the mortals having that exact same issue.

    Why?

Next wow xpac is... World of Warcraft

Although still having a salable bundle-xpac with new content, main focus will be on the base game
    – Dynamic World
    • Not a full world revamp in Cata style, but still a graphical update to whole world
    • Events, wq, etc. coming to old world, with one zone in each region at the start with stories leading to next zones in future updates. For example Eversong Woods will have campaign dealing with void and new undead which will lead to plaguelands in the future. Other zones at announce include Loch Modan and Ashenvale
    • Dynamic flying
    – Big updates to classes, races and customization
    – Storming Lands
    • Basically a sub continent of a new landmass, mainly off shore isles and coastline
    • Azshara is now an independent antagonist, but not really a big villian. Not affiliated with void anymore
    • Underwater "flying"

Definitely not. Someone knows all that and not even the name of the expansion. Makes no sense. If you know enough to reveal that much info, no reason to stop at non-expansion stuff.

Would be depressing and maybe even offensive in how bad it is.

I can see them adapting advanced flying to work underwater, swimming is basically flying already anyways. Cool idea.

I can't, simply for the reason that I cannot imagine players as a whole will learn to love underwater content like Vashj'ir. Which makes underwater movement a bit of a moot point.

Would be fun though. And I would ove to see more underwater zones and areas. Even more so as part of an archipelago.
The world revamp dream will never die!

I don't know. I think whoever did it could have put it a little more effort to make it sound like a proper expansion. Because we will be getting an expansion announcement in a week and a half. QoL and global changes do happen throughout various patches, but it doesn't make sense to give that top billing over the new expansion. And there aren't even any names of new places. They should have at least taken time to throw out a couple.

SoA is correct. First play testable zone is a thick jungle with a lot of willow trees. dwarven buildings built into chasms reminiscent of the ones in Grizzly Hills. Spawn on the shore line next to a dwarf/earthern type npc. Massive sea serpent creatures in the sea off the coast behind the spawn point. Lots of blue colorization. Very stormy/lightning filled skybox

This immediately became the most likely accurate leak entirely based on description alone.

This makes me incredulous, simply because it wouldn't make sense for current era versions of zones to have the same buildings & creatures as in Cataclysm. We fought a world war between cata & now.

    There's a million SoA's be more specific.

It does sound super plausible but if they have access to the Blizzcon demo then they have access to the name so why stick with the abbreviation
