I don't think that list leaves much in the way of options to fulfill your requirements. For that matter, what does Nazjatar have to do with that? That was a regular open air zone that was just surrounded by (water) walls.

People looking back on BfA thinking it was an ok or good expansion forgot a lot of things about it. The only good thing about the expansion is that the dev did try and worked a lot. They delivered a lot of content and were reactive though the result remains truly aweful...
I liked the opening cinematic, I loved Kul Tiras and I appreciated how many risks they took with all the new systems. But it was not a good expansion. Far from it.

Nah, I don't buy it. I don't think we'd see multiple promo materials and no new place names.

or expansion name for that matter. And all of this without Scaleface getting his hands on anything.

We discovered the title 1 day before the official announcement but the main theme being a faction war remained a surprise until the very end. And i hope 11.0 will follow the same pattern.
9.0 and 10.0 themes were WAY too predictable and the cinematics were a massive letdown, say what you want about BFA but the reveal was awesome.

It will soon be 10 years since WoD release and as such 10 years since the character model update.

Since then we've had allied races and a few character updates that went with it. But just like the pandaren kind of shattered the expectations for character creation, the dracthyr set the bar a bit higher than what we already have.

Though they've stated a few times that they want to roll out new options for character customisation continuously so I doubt that we will get a huge new load of charac customisations for the main races but maybe it will happen for the allied races. Or maybe the dev will rework completely how they display your character creation since they want to enable every race to play every class, their existing UI will become less relevant.

Enough rambling, I think we could see a few of the following coming in the next expansions :
    - new character creation UI with all orcs being made a single race, same for human, etc.
    - you can choose a faction, house, clan, etc. for your race. For instance, horde elves could choose high elves, blood elves, nightborn. Dwarves could choose bronzebeard, darkiron, wildhammer. It's not very creative honestly but more and more it feels like this is where blizzard wants to go with their game.
    - more body options for humans, mechagnomes and undead
    - new animations for how you move in the game when running, giving more weight to your character as he turns, jumps, and stops
    - new animations for your character when on a mount. You can expect your character to unsheathe his weapon when close to enemies and foes or when you target a hostile creature. Your character will grip your mount and hold it fast as it gains speed
    - Ground mounts will also benefit from dragonriding in a sense but they will only have three charges of vigor and use it for a temporary speed boost or a long jump that stuns on impact any hostile creature around its landing.

BFA's story was so stupid. Hot Take but i think its worst than Shadowlands.

I mean, the Horde steals the Abyssal Scepter. Only to have it stolen back by the Alliance and for them to not realize it and then it gets used against them with the fog and they still dont realize it. Ghuun is an artifical old god created by the titans and that never gets explained. Azshara is woefully underused and honestly I feel like Nazjatar should have been a city like Suramar and not just a destroyed place. And Nzoth gets beamed.. Ugh just thinking about it enrages me.

Yeah, the MoP title leaked early. And, while that isn't much, it is one of the more revealing titles in regards to plot/theme. The only other expansion title that outright tells you the location we are going are WoD and Shadowlands (and WoD could easily indicate just returning to Outlands on its own). Garrosh thing aside, Pandaria ended up being a lot of what people would have reasonably expected from the location.

Tbh,.. from a scenic point of view I looks really cool. The old one didn't have an in-game silhouette .. I think it took much away from the concept of a tree home that's really really cool.. but like it is now, it would make an excellent spooky zone. That I'd agree with.

With the old Teldrassil being accessible, and a new night elf home that is both better and leaves them in a better place pre war, I'd be happy with everything if it ended in a really good place or the best place ever for them, and would rock an end game Teldrassil zone.

Even Shadowlands didn't necessarily mean the expansion too place there, just that it would be a major location.
It was still perfectly reasonable to assume Northrend would be revamped with the giant portal to the Maw a constant fixture.

Never give up. A world revamp this expansion is still possible!
The world revamp dream will never die!

I'd love to see an animation update in the same vein that we got in Legion. DK's, monks, and hunters in particular need it the most.

Why shouldn't they? The point here is to get a city hub, doesn't matter if it's on Echo Isle, or in their original terirtory in STV .. i.e. Zul'gurub (being a Gurubashi tribe of trolls), or back in trolll ancestral lands amongst the Zandalari - as long as they get a city hub is what I'm getting at.

i'd liek the Mag'har to get Au Draenor back, but since that is not in our universe, maybe they revamp Outland to be a lo t like AU DRaenor, it was the Outland revamp - tbf. I'd like that.. It's their home, they should have it

I don’t think we’ll ever get Undermine as anything more than a smallish patch zone, dungeon, or a starting zone we would never return to.
Blizzard has had many chances to add it as a zone yet they’ve refused. (Cataclysm, could’ve kept Kezan/Undermine as a capital. BfA even has us return to that island in a dungeon which was originally called “undermine”)

I think Zul'Gurub would be a better place for them, they'd have a full zone this way and a city, and one that's tide to trolls and steepd in troll lore. Echo Isle will jus conitnue to be a fortress outpost near the horde capital, for visitors.

i'd love to see the Darkspear unite the Gurubashi for the horde.. i like thinking big for races. Le'ts see the playable jungle trolls actually in a freaking jungle.. not idling in a desert or half desert.

I fully agree, but sadly we still have some people who claim that it has been promised in vanilla, so it will be added for sure next expansion. Asking for sources? Silence ofcourse.

Off course if they are doing a world revamp, I'd want QT and AZM to be revamp, but I want quality for the elves,.. afterall, i can't suggest the high elves take it back if it's crap.. J/k.. I'm just kidding.. don't have a fit.
