Axe kinda looks similar. No horned helmet, but then you have something off at the top of the Avaloren one.

Honestly looks like it might just be the valley of heroes Kurdran statue mirrored and with an axe slapped on.

CRAZY. That is indeed near exact proportions & angle. If this is a fake this is extremely well done.

Wings are further back in the new one compared to the Wildhammer one.

That dwarf looks a lot like the frostborne in northern. I been speculating that the ones in Avalorn would look like them.

To be fair, the picture looked like it was supposed to be a developer taking a picture of the expansion web page to show it's set up for mobile use. The old background art could still be used in development until the new one is made, picked, and added in.

The way its shown could be two different pictures overlapping to look a certain way. Even the dwarf statue at the front of IF could be used for that Axe. Mind I'm not saying that's what it is. Just that I can see it being done to get a look of a dwarf holding a hammer above his head.

Because Khaz Algar isn't the continent. It's Avaloren... Khaz Algar is just one of the zones.

The Titans were also trying to go after some heretics that ran away to the shores of Avaloren but couldn't reach them. Which was documented in another blue item in the same instance.

They might do something underground again, but with this mounting evidence, it's not an underground expansion.

Can you please give me the proof that Khaz Algar is a zone and not a continent? Where are you getting that from? Genuine question. I believe that Avaloren is an expansion being saved for the one after Khaz Algar, it's been pretty heavily speculated that the next expansion is purely underground.

I really don't know how to feel about this one. Visually looks fantastic, but I absolutely can't pinpoint what kind of expansion this will be(best guest is elementals). Plus it's got those "offshoot of a classic Warcraft race" that hasn't really been done that well for some time imo. Also lol another mysterious new continent that's only getting revealed to us now. Still hoping this is fake, but I'm very curious what kind of event will cause us to go to such place.

But this could mean the return of those reveal trailers(separate from expansion cinematic) which I really love. The ones from Cata, MoP, and BfA especially still gets me hyped.
