Well BfA gave us a chance to support Sylvanas despite everything. Maybe this time the Faction War will be against Titans and Heretics. A much less relatable Faction War.

You're probably thinking of the Stormbreaker leak (I believe it was posted on the same day as the website leak), which was confirmed to be fake.

No one acknowledged the Legion leak. It was posted in its thread as a small list when the set precedent was in depth leaks such as WoD before it. No one paid any attention to the Legion leak whatsoever. We went into that Blizzcon convinced it would be Council of Glades or Eye of Azshara, but that’s only because no one paid any attention to the Legion leak whatsoever. There was no discussion surrounding that leak, so there wasn’t any denial in regards to it.

BfA again wasn’t leaked apart from the name and just hours prior to the reveal. There was a lot of speculation surrounding it but it was a pretty mixed bag on what it could be.

We were all pretty convinced of Shadowlands being the expansion way before it was revealed, we just weren’t sure on the details. The Bolvar leak had its detractors but most agreed it was legit as did most with the Bastion leak.

DF with the Dracthyr screenshots was the only scenario where the majority on mass were denying it’s legitimacy.

Slight correction. The year of Legion literally everyone knew what was going to be shown on that Blizzcon as Legion was already announced a few months earlier over on Gamescom...

Now that I think about it, it was quite weird that they used a never before seen titan dino baby for the timerifts rewards while basically anything else was a recolour of old stuff. Just hoping they also do a world revamp, atleast for EK, on top of Avaloren as "new continent".

I think there were some others too that were confirmed as fake, one from some spanish site and another one was made by user from here.

I knew someone would bring up Draenor and Legion. This comparison doesnt work. WoD had one patch with demons secluded in one raid. Legion had a lot of demons but also a lot of new, fresh stuff and stories (Suramar etc) across the whole expansion. Thats why it didnt feel samey at all. You know it, im sure.

DF on other hand had elementals, Titan Keepers and Dragons across all the patches and 11.0 if to believe leaks are going to have all the same elementals, Titan Keepers and Dragons, with all the same plot threads.

Its not really the same situation if you look at it below surface level.

I would say it's less like in Legion, and more like if Legion was a time travelling expansion where the premise was Orcs didn't go to Kalimdor and instead went to Northrend and built a society there to fend off the Legion.

If they are real, no offense, they look a bit boring after dragonflight.. think of WotLK, TBC, WoD, Legion, SL and to a lesser extent MoP and BFA - look at how very different those landscapes looked like. they felt new, these feel rehashed, not very exciting. But we'll see, it really depends if it's real and if real, what's in it.

Depends on your tolerance for high quality leaks. The harpy model is the one I am most impressed by, but the zones could all be derivatives of existing zone palettes.
Tiragarde for top one, then Frostfire, Vol'dun, and finally Zuldazar.

How likely is hard to say, but it's possible. Certainly even more so when you consider everyone just being tired of blatant AI leaks.

What I dislike in the Avaloren leak is that it kinda feels like a pokemon continent. Here are different biomes for all the different badges.
And of course they go with all the vanilla ones instead of dark, ghost and fairy.
