That’s my thing though. If it’s Arthurian themed, how does a jungle and desert fit in? It’s just so theme park if they go that route.
If it’s a true Arthurian inspired landmass then what we should really get should be:
- Camelot zone with meadows, rolling hills, plains, enchanted woods, mushroom forests, lakes, fairy glades.
- A dark foreboding swamp
- Some sort of mountainous region
I just don’t get how a jungle and desert fit with the Arthurian theme of which pretty much all of us assumed would come with a land called Avaloren.

it's trivial to use vpn to create more than one account on a website, chances are those (I think fake) leaks are from the same person

Ye I said the same thing couple pages ago, but I am glad more people think the same thing. There are so many excisting races to be excited about that people are familiar with and have been requested for a long time. Its so stupid to me, its also such an easy way to generate hype.
Those stones dwarves seem incredibly boring to me as well. It would be the same as dracthyr for me. Completely new, that I have no connection with. I just dont care. In a game like this, that excists for long time now, have had so many races being added to the game playable, but in particular non playable. That have grown on people, examples like Arrakoa, Orgre, Vrykul etc. That feeling of hoping your all time favorite race would finally be playable is worth so much more. That is my opinion.

Okay, I missed the Algarstorms guy. I had some personal things going on on the 18th that kept me offline and this thread has been moving 50+ pages a day lately it feels.
So add that to the most recent SoA leak that also includes the Moth-like Green Dragons.
I'll note the website leak guy still only has 1 post and hasn't been banned. I suppose they could be using multiple IPs to evade detection from the mods.
I remain of my idea that whatever races we will ever find in avaloren will be titan-forged (is this the right term, I'll have to check) influenced by life. pretty much the direhorn, maybe more wooden. If the Algarian Earthens are wooden they could be the coolest dwarves after the wildhammers for me.
edit: was mostly right, it's titan-forged with an "-"
Possibly, though in this case you would also have to consider what zones we would have had before Legion was announced.
First image could probably be faked, but the second has new assets in a new kind of environment that I don't think we had before that expansion. Third image have the weird moose turen that probably could be faked, but also the hut behind in an environment that also didn't really exist before that.
Fourth image is also something new and unique. Really vibrant greens and Nelf architecture like this is something that probably only existed in Ashenvale, which uses old Vanilla assets, and would therefore take a lot of effort to make it look this good.
Three out of four show something entirely new at the time Legion came out. Often several things in the same picture. And all things that take significantly more effort to create than just basic landscape or static model editing.
The world revamp dream will never die!

I honestly think it’s either a collaborative effort or others piggybacking off other ideas like we had with people acting like they were in cahoots with Scaleface last leak season.
I think it’s pretty telling that all of those leaks featuring storms, dwarf variants, green dragon variants etc have all popped up after the pre-order mount was datamined and the in-game lore books informed us of the the land west surrounded by storms and the green dragon flying there with the theory they started a new brood.
This is basic shit. I’m surprised people are so conflicted on the validity of these leaks.

I'm not thinking Avaloren is in any way inspired by Celtic mythology. It doesn't exactly fit in with their current Norse inspiration for Keepers, nor do Dwarves feel very Celtic.
I'd be a cool parallel for the name, but I think the writers just picked it because Avalon is sometimes called an Island in the mists and is mysterious.

I think his point his we can't deduce anything from 4 screenshots + screenshots can be very underwhelming but still be real.
Although if I may- these are screenshots from the trailer, correct? The SoA alleged leak screenshots are more like press material/website-related, so we're comparing apples and oranges here
