I may not agree with his subjective takes, but AFAIK he actually is pretty well connected within the industry. He might no reveal the actual reasons why he says it is fake he probably wouldn't make an entire video about how fake a leak is unless he was super sure.

Honestly most of the arguments against those Screenshots just sound like cope. I'd love for them to be fake but to definitively state that you need some actual evidence and "blizzard wouldnt reskin" is definitely not it.

Several reskinned models,vertical fog,the mid animation capture of the text and some new/modified models just sound like way too much effort for a fairly lame leak. It also kind of nails the general vibe of wow zones so if its fake Blizzard should hire whoever made it.

I do have a tentative answer to that. Khaz Algar could be a starting zone for a new feature, be it a new class or race.
But yeah, I also struggle to believe it is a revamp. A revamp would not need a new class or new zones. But I still have no idea how that leak got Nahantu right.

Who knows. Even if we take the entire D4 leak as very real, from a very real source, that doesn't mean that the "btw wow is a revamp and SoA!" tacked on to the end is also real. Especially not when it's highly suspicious they were willing to detail names and explain everything for D4. They couldn't bother to just write the actual title?

My first thought was "maybe they were shown only a piece of the puzzle, like a partial revamp, but not the new zones, thus a lack of ability to confirm/deny," but even that would be knowing something.

This is why the modern version of "leak season" would be wonderful to be shot in the foot for a long time.

It usually causes the opposite. I can't think of the last expansion that lived up to the version in people's minds over the 2-3 months of speculation and wish lists since Legion.

If we found a way to create fakes that are indistinguishable from reality, not trashy AI and not total asset reuse minus one dinosaur, imagine how much more exciting things would be when people are forced to discount everything.

I mean reading the excerpt from the book makes Vyranoth sound hateful and unstable well before Tyr actually gave her a reason to hate him. He absolutely will later on, but she had no way to know and her entire point is that savagery is better than civilization.

And it doesn't really fit with how she's been showcased in 10.2. No signs of intolerance towards Valdrakken or even the Halls of Valor, literally a piece of the TITAN facility.

Also, for some reason, she knows of what race Eyir is as well as her name, even though it was established she has little to no willingness to recognize anything related to the Titans. Maybe I'm missing something here.

It kinda highlights a problem with Blizzard's reputation. We see 4 super mid and uninspired screenshots "leaks" from assumed goddamn presentation and trying to convince ourselves that it's fake lmao
