What if the "4 screenshots" are real, but only the first couple are of the new land, and the other two are of revamped zones? One, revamped Thousand Needles or Badlands, the other, a new Un'goro?

Its silly to get depressed based on 4 screenshots
even if the images are real, wait for the reveal, it could be awesome!

It was posited a few times.
It's another reason I'm annoyed at the assumption that they're of 4 different zones and that they're all from the trailer. Not to say that I think your take is correct or incorrect, just that there's 57 possibilities not accounted for if one assumes it's real.
Taliesin has been wrong before, including predicting Tinkers for 9.0 (and using my Mero for a thumbnail without crediting me!). But he is right more than he is wrong. And he does know people at Blizzard. Him saying the screens are fake, well, it's the first time I've really doubted them. Good thing I never went with absolutes. Screens are out, then. Leaves us with nothing right now. Other than our mount/Khaz Algar.

I don't think they're fake because they're mid or boring. I just think the ratio of asset reuse is wildly off and there's a few areas that look like they've been poorly photoshopped.
That's the difference between this leak and say, dracthyr. Dracthyr as presented in the earliest leaks were pretty mid and boring, but they were also immediately recognizable as potentially real if you were looking carefully.

Y'know something?
All this talk of reveal trailers in terms of relative quality, but I don't think anybody brought up the most obvious one: Cataclysm.
If you go through Cataclysm's reveal trailer, about 70% of the footage is revamp material, with the remaining being placed on the starting zones. We do not see Hyjal, Vashj'ir, Uldum, or the Twilight Highlands, even if we do see a dungeon set in one of them. (Edit: And ONE shot of Halls of Origination)
The clear priority is that a lot of resources went into the revamp. And of those changed landscapes, I'm sure a fair number of existing reused assets existed amongst new ones and terrain changes. And the 4 new zones were probably not ready to be shown in the same way. We get a bevy of concept art for future areas, some that didn't actually materialize.
So hypothetically, let's say the first shot is the only part of the reveal trailer. We're seeing the early portions of maybe the introductory zone of the new areas, and we're getting an early moment of the sweeping shot. The three remaining shots are from press kit images, and it is possible that the 3rd and 4th images are revamp photos. It would make sense to reuse Titan pillars or existing baby triceratops battle pets, for example, in a hypothetical new Un'goro.
Not hopium, I don't even think the above is a particularly high possibility, but it's something to consider when we compare to how Cataclysm's development started to come together. They didn't even have Deathwing ready. And if you just looked at the reveal trailer, you wouldn't even know it was going to also strongly be about the Elemental Planes beyond a line or two.

The website leak calls the Thousand Needles looking place Agg'orand, and you can see one of the ogre-looking Agg'ora creatures from the website leak in the background of the zone screenshot. So unless Thousand Needles/Badlands/Durotar is being renamed to Agg'orand, I don't see that being the case.

Things are getting spicy. Love the different perspectives!
