Blizzard would probably forget Night Elves and Naga don’t like each other so they’d probably get Naga.

It's tradition for the Alliance to get the short end of the stick race-wise at this point. Even when it's against initial expectations.

    "Holy shit, werewolves! Awesome!"

Suddenly, fucking Goofy is flumping around Night Elf areas after taking an off-screen L.

Mag'har, Highmountain, Lightforged, Dark Iron would be my picks. Then maybe, maybe Mechagnome, Nightborne and/or Zandalari (in which case Farraki could also be an option).
I think Void Elves, Kul Tirans, Vulpera would remain separate for sure (They could add High Elves and have Void Elves be an alternative option to them).

I'm still real salty about not getting Sethrak.

    Arakkoa or Botani!

You'll take your prosthetic tin diaper and LIKE IT!

(I like their heritage armor but it's one of the only things that works with their limitations)

Every allied race is a type of the first 10 races except Vulpera, because apparently the first expansion where they introduce a lot of new Undead who aren't hunched over and rotted was not a good time to introduce an Undead allied race.

    Humans - Kul Tirans
    Dwarves - Dark Iron Dwarves
    Night Elves - Void Elves
    Gnomes - Mechagnomes
    Draenei - Lightforged Draenei

    Orcs - Maghar Orcs
    Trolls - Zandalari Trolls
    Tauren - Highmountain Tauren
    Blood Elves - Nightborne
    Undead - ??
    Vulpera - ??

Even that would cause issues. Nightborn would be rolled into Blood Elf? They have very different skin tone options, Nightborne have the glowing tattoos. But moreover, being customization, you would be able to take a Blood Elf Demon Hunter to a barber shop and walk out as a Nightborne Demon Hunter. That's not to mention heritage armor. Are regular Tauren able to use Highmountain Heritage and vice versa, if you are wearing the heritage armor of one and change some customization options, does the armor disappear? These are just two potential problems I see, I imagine there would be a number of smaller ones. I think this leaker saw the whole "Allied Races should just be customizations" idea, that people often say, and threw it in their leak. Problem is, most people who say that don't think it all the way through. Maybe it's something that could've been done *before* Allied Races released. Now, it would cause more complications than solutions.

I think the most ideal Alliance races we could get would be Naga or Vrykul.

Both have deep roots and are long requested

Honestly, neither side likes the Naga for a lot of reasons. And even then, there would have to be a small amount of Naga that oppose Queen Azshara or follow a different leader who isn't a total monster like Neptulon or some other character.

No different than warlocks, DKs, Draenei, Worgen, DH, Dark Irons, etc. Plenty of playable stuff was previously villainous.

Blizzard's cutting corners again? Yare Yare Daze...
