Hmmm I still dont know how to feel about the Talents in DF, I hate the way a build can totally change how your character plays, I choose single target talents and completely forget how to aoe, I choose aoe talents and totally gimp my ST rotation... why couldnt talents to add nice added effects instead of actually messing with how the rotation fully works? is this an unpopular opinion?

The correct answer was Grizzly Hills

I largely agree that specs should change so radically between ST and AoE as they do now (at least for most of them).

Azjol-Nerub as a zone will happen. It is just a matter of time.

There is no chance in which we do not revisit Northrend in some way, especially since we are clearly going to fight the Titans and the Keepers. Most Keepers are in Ulduar, they mass produce armies there.

An Ulduar revamp would be an instant success. The Plague has always been one of the most beloved themes that could be revived through Decay. Dragons are there...

Outland already got a revamp with Draenor. That world is dying and chances are that we will never return there. But Northrend? Huge potential.

As a MM Hunter I absolutely hate it, for this reason I've stopped raiding and doing dungeons because I like to make my own build which is inferior to what people want in their groups for max DPS because I prefer to be able to do abit of ST and AoE damage, I really do dislike the current way talents work, I love the idea of the tree's but I hate the way they've implemented them.

We're getting high elves. Just veeeeery slowly.

Step 1: Implement Void Elves, make up some weird story why blue void-corrupted Blood Elves join the Alliance

Step 2: Wait a while, then give the Void Elves non-void corrupted pale Blood Elf skin

Step 3: Give Void Elves optional toggle to remove tentacles from hairstyles, give them regular Blood Elf hair colors (we are here)

Step 4: Make the Void-themed racials be opt-outable

Step 5: Add more Blood Elf hairstyles to the Void Elves, more hues of blonde

Step 6: Retcon the whole Void Elf thing and phase out the Void part entirely

You know what expansion had hype? WoD
Because their marketing for WoD was good and the timing with the movie was impeccable. The problems laid somewhere else and we all know that, don’t we? Imagine people being hyped for Avaloren: Yes, I’ve waited all these months to finally go to that unknown place we barely heard of and that was introduced just half a year ago. It‘s amazing!!!

That’s what I’m talking about. Something needs to be of interest to generate hype. And that interest needs to be rooted somewhere so it can grow. Hype works when it’s done correctly, we know that it didn’t work out for Dragonflight, so what’s the way forward?

Honestly this idea that Khaz Algar could be in Northrend and the next expac is a Northrend Revamp is probably the one that has resonated with me the most this entire leak season. It just works in so many levels. Ulduar, Odyn, Incarnate lairs, Wyrmrest, Galakrond, a test drive for a revamp but on a smaller scale, multiple storylines that would bring the factions to the front (Taunka, Frostborn, Zul'drak), obvious most wanted underground areas (Azjol Nerub), Sholazar and Elun'ahir.

I can see that. I do think they could still be improved. Some basic spells like an aoe spell should be baseline. But a talent that improves aoe dramatically. Definitely.

I'm all for a Northrend revamp, which kicks off an entire old world revamp. Yes please, thank you very much.

We clearly have precedent that Teriz may continuously return to remind us how little he will be engaging in this thread. If we hold out hope that he will return to continuously talk about how little he plans to talk, we may yet reach our desired figure.
My research suggests brining up high elves can get us to the goal even without Teriz

What idea is that? Is there a leak about this? I think that I remember one but I am not sure.

Nah, some of the Ogres got confused and accidentally teamed up with the Alliance instead.

Or Horde gets classic Ogres, Alliance gets the Imperial Ogres we saw in WoD.

Where is this "Oh no, we can't market this place because we haven't been to it before!" shit coming from?

You are essentially complaining that the expansion that isn't announced yet isn't gonna get the right "hype levels" based on... what?

You have posted the following now:

"Next expansion has to be in Undermine!!"
    "Soul of Azeroth"
    "Avaloren!!"

By this point you'll just say that you were right all along because you spouted so much insane theories that one of them might be right.

I absolutely agree We should have all our baseline abilities for our spec as some Classes feel VERY barebones right now.
