I hope when we get to Avaloren, for once, please, let them speak another language that we can't understand. It makes no sense for us to understand everyone!

Indeed. I'm certain that Danuser wants to remove the Titans from the lore, have them and their keepers killed off to make room for his First Ones. No respect for what was a glorious cosmos.

Just created an account to say this (which is smth that always occurs to me when I see this line of thinking):

No, Danuser is not trying to replace the Titans wih the First Ones.

If you stop and think for a couple secs you'll realise he created the First Ones so they could provide a framework on which he can play withe the Titans and the other Pantheons. The First Ones likely will never get any personality traits and possibly not even names. They just exist to serve as background. Whether you preferred the Titans to stay on that background instead of becoming actual characters is another question, but a lotta folks here don't seem to realise that the First Ones are less characters and more pieces of scenery.

You don't need to be 100% different to be considered distinct.

They are made of stone, are taller, and are imbued with electricity (look at the eyes) - Physiologically distinct
They have the same hair styles, beards, and stone carving aesthetic preferences as Khaz Modan dwarves - Culturally similar

(The legs actually look like he is wearing some kind of stone armor, and the "finger" looks more like a fist weapon attached to gauntlets to me, so I left those out. No reason for them to be nudists, right?)

I mean inbetween both of you, people seem to ignore the most glaring thing for distinction on both. Their "Armblade" thingies are literally part of their body, of their hands. Last I checked that's pretty distinct from regular dwarves too.

Good point! I'd love it if we had to do something like the Winterpelt Furbolg faction with at least a few of the new factions we meet from now on.

Classe features: Every 5 minutes, you switch to another random spec of the same role. You need to have mastered them all!

Are they though? Look at the color differences where you'd expect gauntlets to start. They turn to a dark stone then a copper-ish color. His torso looks uncovered, which is probably his actual "skin" color. But those other parts look like armor. The belt is clearly a belt, it has the hanging bit and everything. Surely they don't just grow their armor?

I'm convinced that the shift in direction during BfA was motivated by a fear of "singular bad guy overload."

Just like how in WoD they got worried about "orc overload/fatigue," the Legion and early BfA lore was pointing towards the Old Gods having corrupted in the Shadowlands (basically the same idea as the souls going to the maw to empower the Jailer, but actually to Nyalotha which was built in the Shadowlands version of the Heart of Azeroth/Maelstrom). Then they got worried about ascribing too many things to the Old Gods so they came up with a different Shadowlands.

Once they came up with a new idea of the Shadowlands, they had to ask who built it that way, and they were afraid of ascribing too much to the Titans, so they invented "the Titans but before the Titans".
