Dioniss Aca, Archenon Poros, Chronakai Kristor, etc. Anchorite, other terms they use for their roles.

They do have elephants and do the tunak tun dance, so there's a spice of indian mixed in.

I thought their accents are Russian.

Lets be real; the Yrel/Turalyon Dark Alliance/the Light can be evil to expansion is inevitable - honestly it's one of the few interesting storylines they have set up currently

Perfect opportunity to have Anduin return and truly establish himself as a character and a reflection of the good side of the Alliance/light

I do hope Yrel survives though; she was great in WoD and it would be such bullshit if she dies in one expansion and Sylvanas survives three as the antagonist; but Danuser is in charge so this will likely happen

Russian is the one stereotype WoW doesn't really have

The Mists of Pandaria Scarlet Monastery replacements were Russian, as were the wolf cult humans in Grizzly Hills.

    Oh shit yeah you're right

I do wonder if we'll get a mildy stereotypical russian voiced player race at some point then in that case

Well it's one of the few open cliffhangers the game has currently; they don't leave something like that in for no reason - they hinted at the light having a morally ambiguous side a number of times since Legion, it's clearly going to happen at some point

Written well, it could be good

I would think that Stormwind would be Elwynn, Duskwood, Redridge, Westfall, and maybe Deadwind pass, but thats iffy.

Then STV North, South, Blasted lands, Swamp of sorrows would be another zone. Southern Wilds or something.

Burning Steppes, Badlands, and Searing Gorge would be a smaller zone called Blackrock Mountain.

Loch Modan, Dun Morogh, Twilight Highlands and maybe Wetlands would be Khaz Modan.

Hillsbrad, Hinterlands, Arathi Highlands would be Arathor.

Gilneas and Southern Silverpine are tricky. Not large enough for a zone. I thought about adding Tolbarad but thats technically owned by Kul'tiras.

I would probably go ahead and combine Gilneas, Sourthern Silverpine, tolbarad, and i would move Vashjir up some in the lore to be beside Gilneas. Call it the Broken Kingdoms.

Tirisfal, northern Silverpine, Easter, and Western Plaguelands would be Lordaeron.

Eversong, Ghostlands, that strip of land not playable in game, plus Quel'danas would become Quel'thalas.

So that makes 8 zones in EK.

Pretty spot on for what a revamp should entail

    Azeroth is also the continent.

But STV WAS actually kind of part of Stormwind Kingdom/Kingdom of Azeroth. Booty Bay is actually a human settlement that was retaken. It's original name was Blackwater Cove, and it was established, IIRC, before the Gurubashi war. Then the Trolls overran it. Then the Goblins drove the Trolls out.

We are getting appearances by nearly all the flights in the current expansion. In 10.2, even storm drakes and nether drakes will appear. But where are the Twilight drakes? The Void has been present all xpac, from Razsageth being banished by its power, to Sarkareth, the Infinites, and Fyrakk. And of course Iridikron’s dealings. But these huge antagonists, who can feed on other dragons’ powers (hint, hint) from Cata and BFA are so far MIA. To top it all off, the datamined Season Four mount is a purple drake.

Is their appearance imminent? Are they the final antagonists of DF? Will they be Iridikron’s army? Together, will they steal the restored Aspects’ powers and usher in a new Hour of Twilight for The Harbinger? And if the Aspects win this fight, they may realize they don’t need higher powers in order to be Azeroth’s protectors.

I just hate when Blizzard attempts to do multiple timelines including in DF

and I also feel like if there's ever a light v void expansion or "evil light" expansion the characters are gonna be pretty one dimensional

evil, authoritarian, almost all paladins or lightforged X or Y character, and a lot of yellow

i realize legion had a lot of just objectively evil villains but it was also longstanding in the lore

Draenei are heavily Greek inspired, it's not even a debate, just go to Exodar and look at their names
