To be honest, that seems... not out of character for Iridikron. Granted in the first meeting he instantly goes to chow down, but after that it's been largely moustache-twirling villain hour. The difference from normal is that he's demonstrated he can back up most of his talk, and to date he has achieved all of his goals in these scenarios.
They mean the four images; they resemble the video style used in 'features overview' clips for expansions, which in the past generally include a few quick shots of the major new zones.

Evil only wins when it spreads. It can cause destruction, it can cause death—but those are consequences of its nature, not its victory. Not its goal. The danger of evil, the purpose of evil, is that it causes those who would oppose it to become evil also.

You mean, those 4 photos of zones are supposed to be real?
If so, then... welllet's hope the colleague of your colleague is nothing more but an imaginary friend.
It's funny that I hoped these @Scaleface void zones images are fake. Now I pray they are real.
Except Dragon Isles was a long standing location that we've heard about for years, and it was cut content from Vanilla.
A story about a green dragon flying west into the unknown against Tyr's wishes doesn't really mean anything. It could be as simple as symbolism of the dragons disobeying Tyr.
The systems situation is probably more interesting to discuss, because what rabbit can they pull out of a hat? Talents are sorted, professions need some tweaks but overall the rework has them in a better place, UI overhaul happened.
Archaeology revamp is likely, but that can hardly stand on its own.
When we've already been teased with scraps about another continent hidden away by perilous conditions, it's pretty reasonable to see this as a teaser, whether for the immediate next expansion or a future one.

The accusations of actual filler expansion would be deafening.
No 10.3. Reused assets everywhere. Everyone expecting a world revamp after Ion confirmed it was something that would likely happen eventually.
Only upside is that it would likely go for all kinds of crowd pleaser features, like removal of Transmog limitations on armor.
The world revamp dream will never die!
Housing or some equivalent is an option, though would be weird to have it on the opposite side of the planet compared to where we usually are.
That kind of feature feels like it should be as close to Stormwind and Orgrimmar as possible to make it feel evergreen no matter the expansion. Having it in Avaloren or whatever would make it feel like Garrisons in having it tied to an old expansion.
The world revamp dream will never die!

If true, then yeah...disappointing so far.
I would like an 'other side of Azeroth' and I'm convinced we will get it because of the Map shifting kalimdor to the right to make some room for a future button to switch to the other side. (some youtubers covered this)
But I would hope for some fantastical unique-looking places over there. Those screenshots are very bland and don't showcase anything special
