I mean he is kinda right with his point that it has everything we speculate about and that never worked out in our favor. I get that we run out of places to go, so avaloren seems like the only choice, but there are so many open storylines from previous expansions that haven't been touched yet, so its weird that all the leaks always circle around the same three things. (could also be a sign that it may be true, like almost every leak last time was about the dragon isles, but i just don't think its avaloren)

They are going to have to go to new places at some point. Even if the screenshots are fake, I still think Avaloren is more likely than not. What are the alternatives, really? K'aresh, Tel'Abim? The former would likely be a lot of the same theme, the latter couldn't carry an expansion. We know Khaz Algar is going to be in the next expansion, it could be a region on its own, although the book makes it sound more like a settlement. Revamp is a popular alternative. And I would like that and I liked Cataclysm, myself. But Cataclysm was a divisive and largely unpopular expansion. I'm not sure how confident they would be in basing another expansion around a revamp. I guess we'll see what happens.

I'm talking doubt in a leak specifically stemming from thinking that what's shown looks too low quality to be real. Genuine disbelief that it's something that Blizzard would make. The Dracthyr reaction was a lot more intense, but the Avaloren leak doesn't seem to be thrilling many people.

I think the main difference between them is that Dracthyr were not believed because they looked weird. The screenshots are not believed because the quality on them seem far too low for a new continent, and especially too bad to show off in a trailer about the most exciting stuff.

The Dracthyr are more like the Agg'oran, where the consensus is that while they could be real, and that they have that level of polish. They just seem all around weird as an inclusion.

So you're saying that 11.0 is going to be more dragons and keepers just like 10.0? You really think Blizzard is going to Kamikaza WoW in that fashion?

No I don't. One green dragon doesn't mean 11.0 will be all about dragons. It'll just be a plot device to properly the story forward.

As for titans, I think there's definitely going to be a heavy titanic influence since Iridikron has some super anti titan plan

Again, the Dragon Isles is a location that has long been known to the WoW fanbase. The Dragon Isles is a homeland to major characters we've known for years, so that pushes the players to go with them to their found homeland.

Plus everyone knows what a dragon is even if they are new to WoW. Apex predators that ride on Rule of Cool.

Now imagine: The storm have lifted. New adventures await on the Heretic Isles.

And none of the dragon characters had any ties to the dragon isle in BFA but wraithon who was looking for it.

I like the idea of Avaloren a lot. But secretly I have a bottle of Copium in my pocket (Don't tell the authorities) which contains a Cataclysm-style re-use of the old world, just without it being completely lost to time. Improve the Zidormi system or something, add some underground zones and all.

Let Avaloren be a patch or 12.0, we haven't heard enough of it yet to make it a focus imo

Was contemplating on saying this since its 3rd hand info (so take it as you will).
Over the weekend I got 3rd hand confirmation (colleague of an ex-colleague type of thing) that the Features Overview screens are real.
As I said take this with a 50kg bag of salt since its literally a "friend of a friend" situation.(Even I am not taking it 100% for serious)
Tbh if true then I am a bit disappointed at least from the small subarea we can see of each zone. The wasteland one looks cool, but others are very basic.

Too bad I won't get my arthurian theme (Avalon=>Avaloren), otherwise the screenshots are more or less what I was expecting. Now I'm interested to see the whole thing

Since Shadochi's claim, now instead of "website is fake so the screenshots are fake", now we have "the screenshots are real, so the website is real". That agg'ora stuff really doesn't look appealing to me. Nor the khaz algar section. Seems completely uninspired. What's the dwarf with the weird hands, then? The dwarf on the khaz algar section doesn't have weird hands as far as I can see. This fucking sucks, man. All my blizzcon hype is gone, reduced to atoms.

Honestly I still love that moment after we saw the cinematic at Blizzcon when Ion said "now you see why the flame is that color"

I still find it hilarious that they chose the dumbets shot possible to use as print in their shop. Like, why would thy chose THAT exact moment as the shot for posters, shirts and whatnot.
They couldve chosen the moment right before that, where he was fully orange, or the moment afterwards, where he was fully blue.
Instead, they went for the very moment where his head and helmet are blue, and his body orange, making the entire thing look stupid and out of place. Who thought "Yeah, players will want to have a screenshot of him MID TRANSFORMATION haha"

Uh people were literally speculating that the reason Wrathion was looking for it was to restore the black dragonflight.
