I though about this as well, but it seems on the photo there nothing settled in the final places. Cloumns are still standing on wooden pallets, they surely will be transported somewhere else.

Has Blizzard ever done a expansion reveal with this much set design before? From all the reveals I have watched I just remember a stage with a large screen and no "extra" set pieces to give away the reveal.

Here's Shadowlands reveal (I see set design but nothing that would lead to an "Afterlife" expansion

Might be a small nitpick, but does the US have significantly different standards for wooden pallets? Because some of those pallets look weird to me. Though that might just be my familiarity with the EU standard pallet.

You have dozens of floodlights at convention halls and they could easily distort shadows or messing them up imho.

Part of the Warcraft hall is a "Darkmoon Faire" exhibit. The trees on Darkmoon Island are leafless and twisted, though not identical with these trees/pillars and the artwork.

Or they put "Darkmoon faire exhibit" on the blizzcon Warcraft hall map so they have plausible deniability. Is this Darkmoon exhibit something they've done before?

Maybe the light source is right above him, notice how the other two are a few inches below him and the shadows arent fully stretched out, implying the light source might be above that at a greater angle than the third guy

The shadows are very weird. I don't see a light source in front of them, yet their shadow seems to imply there should be a stronger light source from that direction creating the distinct shadow behind them.

Could be. Maybe there's a strong spotlight right above the 3rd guy. Hard to tell.

Great point, I wanna think we'll probably see a hint or two in there. It's also possible we've been seeing hints across the past few months! It's all unprecedented and quite fun.

We do know for a fact that we'll see 3 of the class sets. Monk, Warlock, and Warrior (or shall we say Sha... void... and Odyn..? /s)

I suppose there could be a strong light source just out of frame but still weird. I struggle to see how the shadows would work.

Same, AI has ruined me. The amount of same features DALL-E generates by just telling it about a convention center is crazily similar, but then again, that is what setup in convention centers would look like.

wooden pallets in the US are generally 48x40. They also tend not to have more than 2 entries per side (the gap between the base board and top board)

these have 1 large gap and two small gaps flanking it and also look super warped? like plastic

Unless these grey things aren't "wooden" pallets and are something i'm not familiar with
