Context was different tho. After Legion you could expect a lot of stuff, such as void, more world to explore or the infamous pirate expansion. Outside of the Battle for Lordaeron, the throne room didn't gave away anything and was even more hinting toward a return of Lich King of stuff like that. Originally Posted by ercarp
With the purple roots and the whole scene, it would be a big giveaway of the expansion theme. We don't know who is the Harbringer or who's going to be the big villain in this case, but we know for sure that purple = void and it's a very specific theme in the Warcraft universe.
Also, I highly doubt that the main scene of BlizzCon's going to be Warcraft themed when you have stuff like Project Odyssey that's probably going to be at the center of this BlizzCon.
