With the purple roots and the whole scene, it would be a big giveaway of the expansion theme. We don't know who is the Harbringer or who's going to be the big villain in this case, but we know for sure that purple = void and it's a very specific theme in the Warcraft universe.

Also, I highly doubt that the main scene of BlizzCon's going to be Warcraft themed when you have stuff like Project Odyssey that's probably going to be at the center of this BlizzCon.
Completely agree with you. And with Classic being a thing, it makes sense to have a more neutral Warcraft theme for the set. Bronze dragonflight themed pillars kind of work for Retail, Classic Era, and Classic Cataclysm all at once.

I find it funny that all the AI Stages/Halls that were made, for the most part look more like an Anaheim Convention Center Hall during Blizzcon than the original screenshot we were discussing.

I went into the pyramids and solved the riddles, then King Tut himself took me to BlizzCon's staging area for a sneak peek.

    He's finally back.

Why would Blizzard theme their decor in a way that explicitly shows you what the expansion is centered around, before it's revealed?
    Also, this.

I really hope we get another semi-legit screenshot drop like Scaleface dropped prior to last reveal.

A new playable race, or new talent spec screen for some new spec, or some new UI change...

there's so much we could do

Begone with this foul logic. (I was at the International in Paris and even though a D3 reveal was expected there was nothing that would suggest that until after they revealed it. New merch and poster/set dressing were added after the reveal.)

Can't wait for a cinematic print leak to come out similar to the bolvar one and people 'debunk' it as AI based on inconsistencies like the Bolvar one

Just a modest setup for the reveal. Nothing too fancy or elaborate you know.

I remember seeing one that stuck with me about how the artifacts suggested it was photoshopped and thus used to make the eyes orange

idk why i still remember that

I could see it. Giving you a rough idea as you walk into the hall without just having an expansion pack name plastered across the hall entrance.

I believe/hope the original shot is fake because A, I’m not interested in what I see, and B, why would they show so much before the reveal, like others have stated.

But if you’re gonna discredit an image for being AI generated, at least don’t cite things as impossible when they happen in real life all the time lmao.

Boxes inside boxes? Yes it happens.
Boxes with too many flaps? Yes it happens.
Warped pallets or weird stacking? Yes it happens.
Shadows all over the place? Yes, multiple light sources happen.

Just cause you want it to be fake (I do too) doesn’t mean you can act like every little detail is an impossibility. 99% of the reasons I’ve seen to dismiss it are not valid. The only one I’ve seen so far that makes sense is that it makes NO sense to let everyone come in and see your set before you announce what it is.

In my defense, even after seeing the cinematic, none of that red-to-blue thing made sense.

Think it was to signify that he was holding the curse at bay, which is why he was red (in control) and when he went to fight with Sylv he allowed it to overtake him and amp his strength etc. (thus turning blue).

While fair, if anything that shows things don't always have to make sense, especially when we're going as deep into overanalysis as we do here. I wouldn't really have noticed it if it weren't for the leak.
