So like, a teaser for future content that generated speculation (but not confirmation)? Because we have those this time too.

I’m pretty sure “We’re going to Kul’Tiras” carries far more weight than “We’re going to Avaloren”.

I wouldn't call it major. It was a side quest you can easily skip/miss while questing through Aszuna.

Thinking about it I suppose it was a side quest. Still though, it was a big one taking up a large part of the map and one you were likely to find when doing the actual main quest line.

I mean, I'm not invested into Teriz's ideas, but Nerub thing is definitely much more highlighted in DF than any Avaloren. Mr. Sunflower and this item desc at the very least

Teriz very frequently has great points and then pulls the completely wrong conclusion from them.

My take remains that these are probably AI generated terrain bases (like someone prompted "wow zone") and then took those pictures and photoshopped in assets from a model viewer.

well it is easier to do in a sandbox server over an AI.
These images are really complex to AI
As I said long time ago.

These images are real BUT

1- are from a sandbox server
2- are from someone at blizzard

if 2 are correct,
they they can fake a leak to shut the buzz around
or it is a real leak

As Marlamin mentioned below, there is that Koi looking fish from the South Sea
Plus we have The owl loa of change, who sounds like the Egyptian Moon god.

So that leaves us with...what? Island on the south seas with a desert biome, playable Jinyu, likely partial revamp and focus on Elune.
I would preorder this.

Sounds way more interesting than any of the Avaloren stuff.

I mean, to be fair to Teriz, I do think the flavor text on that item is interesting. I don't even know where "Queen Moaj'arak" comes from even though it seems to have existed in Nerubian lore before the item.

Not necessarily. Jinyu did get more story after MoP with the Ankoan. If you need a MoP race to give to the Horde then I would argue the Rajani Mogu are muh more likely.

I think Teriz's ideas are great. My issue is with the fact that they refuse to look at any perspective other than their own (or at the very least, entertain other ideas as possibilities instead of "yeah, that makes no sense because...reasons...").

The idea that Avaloren doesn't have a hook is bonkers.

We literally have in game confirmation from titan keeper perspective on failed invasions from Odins behalf.

A realm guarded by storms with heretic titan keepers that odin wants to kill is absolutely a hook. Especially if it's been foreshadowed. Whether it's an expansion or not, this is a hook.

The entire arguments I'm seeing are just preference bias. I'm shocked people have been so shook by those 4 images. Mentals have been broken and it's quite funny to watch.
