Fake leakers as a whole aren't exactly known for thinking things through.

I guess since I'm unsure how big Blizzcon is going to be this year, and it's so incredibly themed.

But then the year I went was Wrath. So hey.
The last event at the Anaheim Convention Center was the Global Produce and Floral Show and that ended 9 days ago. Blizzcon is a rather large convention so it wouldn't surprise me if it takes them a week to set it all up.

Write workworkzugzug on a piece of paper and take a photo of it in front of the building so we can spend another 140 pages arguing whether or not it is superimposed on an existing photo.

phones have to be off once we go beyond our worker id checkpoint. i could probably get away with a photo on thursday once everything is set up for the public, because that is when they have been abit "whatever" with the rules at past blizzcons i have worked on

Sure. It's possible. But I would think the work would have started today, not over the weekend.

But yeah, if the last show was 9 days ago, it's more than possible they got extra time or booked extra time for setup when they saw they got the chance.

My only experience with setting up events is a circus.

1000% for sure an event that size is setting up this early. Someone else already said the last event ended 9 days ago, even that windows is very tight.

would you accept it if i made chatgpt write my name, print it out, take a photo, put it through some ai like midjourney and then put a grainy filter on it, blow it up on my laptop and take a photo of it at a bad angle?

I'll buy it if multiple people are saying it. Like I said, my biggest event organization experience was a circus.

i have worked on more than 1 blizzcon and less than 6, and this is about when we usually start construction. it got a lot bigger once overwatch became a thing and the world cup was hosted here. there is also less man power around this year compared to the last time i set blizzcon up.

Alright. Time to see if Nozdormu's hand gesticulations translate to anything in Morse Code.

It just depends on the size of their crew, something most of us wouldn’t know, and how much money they’re throwing at them. But sometimes much smaller venues take weeks to set up, so it’s very likely they would maximize on the time they have available. And crews like that don’t TYPICALLY follow a standard week/weekend like the majority of people.

That's why you just take a photo of the building from the outside. If you can't do that, you're not there.

    Got ya. Cool beans

That said after Blizzcon, they have to take everything down and out before Wednesday to make room for some California Charter School meeting.

Have you guys uncrated Chris metzen yet or at least passing some lettuce in?

i will say, in all my years of being apart of the crew that sets up blizzcon, the only thing i have seen with my own eyes around here before it was seen elsewhere was a pamphlet with bolvar on it before shadowlands. the merch with the 'new' stuff on it always comes in late afternoon/night before blizzcon and isn't stuff that we workers handle at all. only reason i saw that bolvar pamphlet was because the box had been mislabeled. the construction of that entire blizzcon was a mess.

that is why i am sceptical of this banner i saw, it would be far too early for key art banners to be inside the building. and that is why i don't wanna say that this is 11.0 related with certainty.

Seeing a lot of accounts today that just joined today. And interacting with each other, too. Kinda feels like the whole Algarstorms/22mage22 thing all over again. Just sayin'.
