It’s a little more complicated than that. She doesn’t so much lie, as she goes back in her word. Either way she doesn’t come out looking good.
Alexstraza makes the promise that they won’t convert all the eggs after Tyr commands them to take eggs from the wilds so there can be more ordered dragons. She then brings it up to the other aspects and they all discuss it. Ysera and Nozdormu are against doing it. Malygos and Neltharion agree with Tyr that the best way forward is to do it. Alexstraza ends up agreeing with Neltharion and Malygos out of the fear of what the Keepers will do to the aspects for not upholding their oaths to protecting Azeroth. They also get away with this for 200 or so years before Vyranoth finds out that Alexstraza went back on her promise because they don’t forcibly take the dragon eggs from the wild. The keeper constructs that are getting the eggs mostly go for abandoned eggs. So it’s all very hush hush.

agree.
When it comes to iridikron yeah i can say his design looks cool, but when it comes to the story so far almost 1 year later, his character just feels like jailer 2.0 right now with this "wait whole expansion and see, have some lines here and there" in game development.
The whole dynamic in the game when it comes to the incarnates just feels pretty empty and here you have in this new book something pretty cool that would be nice to see in game..

Book characters dynamics should have absolutely been in the DF from the very start. Those dynamics could have make players to be at least somewhat more interested in dragon characters and plot of the game.
I hope Blizzard will manage the following expansion way better than that.
On other note, bring me Trading Post rewards before i piss myself!
Even though i doubt they will spoil anything at all.
After the Blue Dragonflight questline I'm fairly certain they still can write and write decent, coherent. Too bad whatever writes and composes the main story and lore's cadence is a dogshite at their job
I went to sleep on page 2219, I got up on page 2266, my god, anything new ?
I agree with everything you said. Maybe I would assume out of this argument that the new page is rather the world revamp though. I know Tali said the same, that the new world is the other side but somehow I just can not imagine what themes they would use without creating copies of existing themes.

Post MoP? Suramar, Zandalar and Kul Tiras is best narrative WoW ever had. And only MoP is close to that. "Story" of TBC/Wrath is literally "member this villain/antihero who had good build up in RTS games? kill him".
That is common trend in WoW. Even Shadowlands and Draenor zones had decent side stories, but only time when main plot was both interesting and (relatively) coherent was Legion.
But it is logical, when you write side story you start with nothing and you can plan how it will end. If you write main story, you start with 30 years of mess (already retconed 5 times) and there is no end in sight.

I mean i only read Knaak, Metzen and PRE DANUSER Golden books
The issue with wow storytelling atm is pretty simple
1. The story is bland and has "plothole"
2. Books try to fill the plotholes BUT ALSO are forced to "bend" towards the in-game story
so
3. You need in game lore + books to explain stuff that makes no sense but the books cant spoil the game so stay vague and bland
I mean they just could have made one cinematic with all the Incarnate backstory. Or let every Incarnate have their own short video. They did this with Warbringers or during WoD. Would this have been too much? Because the Incarnates how they have been portrayed as of now (in game) are comically bad and uninteresting enemies.
Make Alliance Great Again
Bfa could be so much better if :
They started with azerite essênces instead of armor
The narrative stayed of the same level of zandalar/kul tiras story
Pvp warfronts

Probably we will get the 11.0 Warbringers , and i hope if its avalon explain better whatherver we are doing there

There are multiple ways to make coherent stories for those willing to listen

also the macro story fails always vs the micro story
Bobsalami Ghuun or Drust vs Kultirans >>>>>>>>>> Sylvanas burning the tree
also, drusts? forgotten.
tiragarde horde vs alliance story? fucking mess

Drust epitomize wasted potential. Coolest new adversaries in a decade and they just abandon them. I had hopes they would tie in more with Ardenweald but they ended up halfassing even that. Thros sounded like a place that could fill an entire major content patch..
