Is there any precedent to the trading post hinting at future content? I just figured they bundle together unused assets/cool things that don't fit into the regular content.

Not that I can think of. At a stretch maybe the elune themed swords hinting at 10.2, though that is a big stretch.
Next months rewards will probably hint at Christmas though, so there is that.

Name is Shadow over Azeroth. It has to do with one of the void lords casting sort of a void barrier thing over Azeroth. Illidan comes back to warn us just before and Sargeras is out of his prison. He's not redeemed from what I gathered but is working alongside the other titans now that they've realized the threat of the void. He pulls out the sword out of Silithus and through the hole we travel to Uldaz. There is a teleporter pad there which takes us to Khaz'Algar, which is underground, like way waaay underground. The earthen have become "corrupted" by being too close to the titan soul of Azeroth.
Heart of Azeroth is back and Khaz'Algar can only be entered if you have the neck equiped. Major world revamp with lots of void portals opening all over similar to Legion Invasions.
Fun Fact: The trailer is narrated by knaifu.

Nope, not necessarily (unless you count the Elune swords from a few months back, or the Netherwing Drake but those are both extremely minor and already had assumptions) I think it's just something to keep an eye out on because we've never had a Trading Post month coincide with an expansion announcement, so the possibility is always there!

They wouldn't be so dumb to go back to borrowed power and design new minor/major powers when they literally just redesigned the entire talent system + new talents coming in the next expansion.

We absolutely need another kind of class or character progression system. In Dragonflight it was sorely missing. The game just needs a gameplay hook that can be chased the entire expansion.

Not actually afaik. I wouldnt even seriously think TP would hint on something.

Speak for yourself. And entire expansion of Nazjatar sounds amazing to me.

I was fully on board for a Nazjatar+Azshara expansion (that's basically what my Tides of Vengeance leak was supposed to be) before BfA added them into the game and completely butchered the execution on both. Now I have zero interest in anything to do with Azshara, Nazjatar, or nagas in general. It's a hard pass for me.

As it's is a new feature, there is not a precedent for it, but for the future we can use it as a guide, who knows lol

There was a leak for an expansion called World of Warcraft: Harbinger two days ago.

It doesn't sound that good though. They say it's not Nazjatar 2.0, but it absolutely is Nazjatar 2.0.

I hope the zone screenshots are fake and this is just a subtle nod to an excellent fake as opposed to a confirmation of some kind.

The Harbinger guy's account name is "Not an Old God Expac" using a Caesar cipher. At least he gave us a small puzzle.

If it had more areas in the water like Vash'jir it would be awesome, miss that area (although i know that the majority of players disliked it, so i don't see it happening unfortunately )

Would be real fun to have a zone like Vashj'ir again. Nazjatar especially could have been so much more interesting if it actually went for full underwater, as it otherwise had to continously justify why it made sense.

Honestly the hate against Vashj'ir is so overblown. I don't think there honestly were that many times you couldnt just stick to the ocean floor and treat the swimming enemies as flying ones.

Same. Also i really hated being there untill i got flying achievement. Absolutely terrible execution of landscape verticality.

It's pretty ridiculous how much Vashjir captures the aesthetic and size of what Nazjatar should be, then they made the version of Nazjatar they did.

i still go back every week to farm Poseidus and to wander around the zone.
I think the sense of depth in the water was what the folks were not very happy about the zone

Not really, the mummy model is a battle pet you get from completing an achievement in Atal'Dazar.. this red version is new.

I hope so tbh. This is one of the few leaks I've read that didn't make me audibly groan in frustration. The more I think about this one the more it makes sense, too - and aside from the Heart of Azeroth coming back (which could work tbh if done right) I don't see too many people being disappointed if this one turns out true.

The trading post agenda was done long ago I think. Pretty sure it's here to tease a titan VS void expansion, which could be Avaloren (but it wouldn't be surprising).
