Some people are saying it was debunked because they refused to take a picture of the street outside to prove that they're on location, but to be honest, if I was in their shoes I would not be doing that either. I'd be paranoid that the photo would somehow be linked back to me.

One pretty universal opinion about DF is that it lacked an endgame system to keep you going. Without something like that the next expansion will be gameplay wise the exact same as this expansion. And who likes to play the exact same spec without changes for 4 years? Yeah exactly.

Yep exactly. I reach seasonal goals of M+ and Raid in like 4-5 weeks and then i have nothing to do for next 5 months. Now i know some people might say "Just go play other games", but i wanna play wow lmao

Trading post monthly reward adding to titan/old god themed speculations?

I remember the emerald dream themed swords from back in june(?) trading post reward that could’ve been thrown in what we now know is 10.2

We absolutely do not need a borrowed power farm simulator again. They even said so themselves prior to DF release..

Indeed. The borrowed powers were created to satisfy the need for endless progression each expansion, but ended satisfying no one, because the people that wanted it felt the need to endlessly work on it, and the people who didn't want it felt like it was another chore the needed to do.

That effort is best used now on actual class core gameplay (and, I hope, add new classes more frequently than every 6 years).

Not really, the mummy model is a battle pet you get from completing an achievement in Atal'Dazar.. this red version is new.

No, it's not new. It's a red version of "Miimii", which is a reward for an achievement in the Battle for Azeroth expansion.

A lot more people than the amount of people who liked to play the exact same spec without changes except having to farm non stop. Legion artifacts were a mini skill tree that we already have now. Same with the Heart of Azeroth, you realise we had an entirely different talent system back then yes? We don't need that back and they even said the current talent system is planned to last at least 8 years until they have to look for other ways again.

Also talent builds allow for way more variation than Azerite powers, there was always a set choice as BiS because the other powers were tuned horribly. Now nearly every class has multiple choice talent builds for every situation.

I really hope you aren't calling the Azerite system a success, because it was probably the biggest failure in this games history.

id love more to do more in WoW that feels meaningful to me, which without certain systems like housing or some kind of 'museum' for my collectibles, that comes down to just power based systems that i'd be interested in

AI has ruined it tbh. Leaks (non-text-based ones at least) used to take effort. Now anybody can just throw some words into a website and have a machine fart out a leak for them instead. It sucks.

Ehh, AI I think is fine. It's annoying when it's blatant, but it's sometimes fun to pick apart whether something is an AI artifact, or actually just weird looking.

It really was the Algarian Stormrider that killed it. Because it both meant that Khaz Algar was all but hard confirmed, and Khaz Algar was a location we knew basically nothing about.
In one fell swoop it basically killed speculation for a World Revamp, South Seas exploration, and for that matter the Backside of Azeroth, since it now seemed like Titan Keeper rebellion with Earthen seemed to be inevitable.

Leak season seemed just fine until the achievement list got confirmed.

I think he was asking to check his post history because it related to the TP items "Azerite" swords and "Void" staff

Tbh i think people couldve been more creative with Khaz Algar. Maybe a deep underground lost dwarven city in the lands we know now, or maybe under Silithus like that one guy posted, but I think people just associated the idea of Khaz Algar = Avaloren REALLY early on that no one thought they could be different things
