It's the same problem they had in shadowlands when players where confused why they had to fight against kael'thas when they have worked with him for weeks. Or you have to figure out for yourself that for most of the ven'thyr campaign denathrius was already defeated and it takes place after his death.

Seems like we have to wait again for all campaigns to be over to figure out the timeline ourself.

Alex is just plain annoying at this point. It's like she has forgotten how to speak normal sentences and just reads from her rolodex of fantasy tropes.

Let's just wait for her to crossover to modern tropes and go "I'm too old for this shit". She is already wearing a red shirt (well bra).

She got hit with main character beam. Only few characters like Khadgar survived it.

The main writers are allergic to continuity and have not much love nor care for the finer details when it comes to the story, races, cultures, stuff like population numbers don't even exist. What loss did the players feel more, Varians oder the faceless masses in Darnassus.

Or take the current story. Raszageth and Alexstrasza interact. They seem to have history together, were close in the past. Fastforward, Raszageth dies, mentioning nothing about it. Alexstrasza learns of her death, mentions nothing about it. We don't necessarily need a complete solution yet, but there isn't a word or hint about it.

No love for detail in the story telling. Its superficial.

Wasn't the point of dragons taking humanoid forms to ease the mortal races while communicating with them? I don't think that Kalec got the memo, every time his face pops on the screen it makes me extremely uneasy.

Blizzard is simply terrible at story writing.

Sure, but they do have great writers who can produce awesome stuff for the side quests that don't need to connect to anything, but for big continuous narrative they have, are, and will be doing only trash.

Jesus christ, the player base is complaining about writing and in the same breath say "I hope he made a bargain with the Old Gods "

Characters talking like encyclopedias is good writing, but only if it's old characters and ideas!!!

I can see the bargain being old gods, and how Xal'atath and/or Azshara get involved to lead to how Murozond inevitably is created (sticking to the old lore that Old Gods did it )

After Iridikrond's release I'm so hyped for the future patches! This is gonna build up to something real nice I know it

So, is it safe to say that this is one of the biggest blunders in WoWs developmental history in terms of unintended leaks? Worse than the Kul'tiras armor leak, I would say, just for the "must be flagged as "DEVELOPMENT MAP")

Eh I don't think its that big.

I'd rank the Worgen and Goblin face "masks" in the files well ahead of Cataclysm's reveal being bigger. This isn't all that big, just points in the general direction of what's next. And even that may not end up the case.

Alexstrasza and Nozdormu said the Incarnates will gather their strength first and isolate/hide themselves with the help of Iridikrons mastery over the earth. Its pretty much clearly stated the Incarnates will not attack soon. And Alex and Noz don't seem to be confident that they can find them.

A Black Aspect might be able to do it. That would mean they need Tyrs disk first, revive him, regain their power.

Which would make sense, seeing that Tyr has one unknown connection to the Incarnates and the underground zone could also have titan stuff in it. With Tyr present and him having a confrontation with the Incarnates could be quite interesting.

We got another underground hint: a new TjarinTale which mentions a tribe of "underdwellers".

Well, we expect underground zone to be next Argus/Nazjatar/Zereth Mortis, so developoing it for 10.2 and reusing FR for 10.1 makes more sense.

I guess I can accept the idea of a underground expansion goodbye. /sigh oh well. But yes forbidden reach seems likely as we have to go there again somehow.

    Nice I guess?

    Citizens of Azeroth,

It is with great joy that I announce Chris Metzen has joined the Warcraft Leadership Team as Creative Advisor. Chris’s focus initially will be on World of Warcraft, then his work will expand to other projects across this growing franchise.

Chris was one of the original team members working on the Warcraft universe back when it began in 1994, and we are so happy to be reuniting him with the world he helped create.

Oh man, what does this mean? This sounds like good news, since it's also coming from John Hight. They are really taking the reins with Holly huh?

Imagine Chris back on stage with revealing 11.0 on next Blizzcon.

He needs to be at Blizzcon. Chris literally set the hype bar every time.
