The Old Gods' tendrils are embedded into the world's crust and multiple sources confirm that they draw their strength from the Earth.

Name one Underground zone that did not have any kind of Old God lore.

The Old Gods' ultimate objective is to corrupt the World Soul of Azeroth, which is located underground.

It should be obvious why you can't separate Underground from Old Gods.

Also the fact that Iridikron shares their goals and he just happens to be an earthen dragon kind of gives the game away.

Well there's an empty timeslot right after the opening ceremony iirc, so they may use that to talk about something revealed in the ceremony.

Speaking of Daddy D, I'm hopeful that future expansions take him and the nathrezim back their subterfuge roots. He presumably doesn't have anything that could qualify as an army left after the Shadowlands campaign, so it would only be natural that he fall back to their strong point of twisting others to fight each other.

That is actually exactlly what I envisioned him doing in my fan expansion idea I outlined a few days back. He works better as the man behind the man than the first raid tier final boss.

I mean, obviously players are a lot smarter than they were 10 years ago during Cata's launch. We're not dealing with "Wrath babies" anymore, especially since the new crowd prefers a much harder game.

Wrath Classic did introduce the Titan Rune system with catch up mechanics along with making the dungeons harder.. my question is would Blizzard continue that system into Cata Classic even with the original Heroic dungeons from launch?

I think they will wait for 4.1 or 4.2 for that. Im hoping they try to release the launch harder heroics before nerfing them after. If we could have launch cata heroics before titan rune comes out that would be great.

I'd personally want a parallel story series with one side being about Thrall and the other being about Jaina and Arthas. Start from Thrall escaping and end with TFT. IF successful, War of the Ancients prequel about Illidan.

I'm not at all anti-woke or anything like that nor want i discuss this topic in general but it does concern this thread also: at the latest reveals there are people talking who shouldnt be at a reveal. It's not an easy job to do talk at such an event (even if its pre-recorded).

I have to agree, it is a bigger priority for them to find some person of color or someone who is not presenting heteronormative than to actually pick the people who are most comfortable presenting. They might be great devs and that is what they were hired to be but not every dev can also present things to the public which is a very different job.
HS for a while had an amazing presenter who I assumed was queer; that is how you do representation. The bigots probably hated them but everyone else was entertained AND felt represented.
