But your duty to Azeroth is not yet complete. More is demanded of you... a price the living cannot pay.

Yeah? And that's what the game needs more of?
Even then, that was just making Kalimdor and EK relevant, which is not what we need.
The new Tree being exactly where Teldrassil was and just resetting the status quo instead of doing something interesting like planting it on the Dragon Isles and opening up more development is just so typical WoW players it's insane.
You guys bitch about boring writing yet every suggestion is just the same old story retold with the same old faces and it feels like you just want a re-telling of Vanilla -> Wrath in a loop.

Plus it would spread the playerbase too thin. Imo if they ever wanted to make more of the world useful, they need to copy what ESO does. In ESO you almost always have an event up that increases your chance of getting collectibles in this or that zone which moves much of the population of the game to those zones for a couple of weeks.

Don't need to get to level cap. All through the year, beyond the holiday events, ESO has multiple events dedicated to specific Chapters or DLC. You might have an event that doubles all rewards from Brotherhood missions or another that doubles rewards from the Greymoor chapter.
Say we had the dream evergreen revamp that spreads world quests, rares and world events all over the world beyond questlines. Every say 4 weeks you could have an event that focuses on a specific part of the map or expansion. So for these four weeks, Blackrock Mountain is affected and everything in Searing Gorge, Burning Steppes and Badlands as well as any dungeons attached to it gets double rewards. Combine this with timewalking and affect the expansions too, but not just for a week. Perhaps involve everyone instead of just world quest people and instead of having 4 current dungeons plus 4 fixed have 4 current dungeons + 4 dungeons from the event/TW area.
This way players can play in two places; they can stay in the current expac or if they have done all they want from it they can switch to whatever TW/Old World area is currently featured.

I don't like the idea that the Nelf "capital" is in the dream. It divorces them from Azeroth in a way.
It is a cool idea for a new race that started that way, some Fae race but it does not seem right for Nelfs.
The tree grows into a single note that says "Maybe the real home was the friends we made along the way" and Shandris jumps in front of a fatal Primalist laser beam while Tyrande is reading it or something.
You don't seem to understand the problem, that would remove them from their current home and from the Azeroth that matters even more... literally living in the past lol
We can be already pretty sure that Nelfs will move to the place, Kalimdor is their old home and dragon isle on the tree the new one according to Malf (this is from patch 10.0)

Did WoW Twitter just spoil that Vyranoth shows up somewhere in 10.1? As far as I know she isn't in the main campaign which has been tested.

Everyone says they want good dreams, yet when they wake up, they've forgotten them, but... no one forgets a good nightmare!

I sincerely hope they backtrack on trying to pull the nelfs out of Kalimdor, I don't understand WHY they would do this.
What does Blizzard gain by moving them out of the Old World zones of Kalimdor, or Even EK, and sticking them in an expansion zone?
What story do they think they're telling for the nelfs that benefits from that in any way?
I can't understand the reasoning behind it.
