So if it is karesh then I feel like ethereal are a given. I hope they're neutral but would probably be alliance because of velves.

In that case, hope horde gets ogres.

I feel like there's no shot that Ethereals wouldn't be neutral they're just too popular to give to one faction unless Blizz finally does the smart thing and gets rid of factions in gameplay.

Assuming that they are an Alliance race because Velves and Locus Walker and Alleria though then I bet Horde would get Arrakoa.

The binary stuff, all together, seems too good to be true.

Too good to be true, IMO. Earthen instead of Ethereals would be odd, considering the overall theme.

I'm inclined to give it the benefit of doubt. Earthen and Atificers are different than what is normally put on expansion wish lists. Hell the world revamp is the only real buzzword it uses. No player housing or any evergreen feature mentioned. This doesn't strike me as a wishlist.

Avaloren doesn't make sense as the next expansion.

Underground expansion with Khaz Algar as Main capital, Earthen as new race, and Old Gods/Xal'atath as Main antagonists makes way more sense.

I literally just mentions further off “ends” in the post you quoted with the void/light lords and laid out that my problem isn’t that things are above the titans but that they have no build up yet are suppose to be above every thing we have had since before wow.

And? Who cares about that? It's literally just macro-world building. Stuff like that doesn't need buildup. That's not how that kind of storytelling works. It's a hook to create a sense of scale and mystery beyond what we currently know. (And that includes the Voidlords)

Why would it? The Titans are literally beings who think their design *is* the grand design. That's all this is.

Except they are all about creating orderly interplanar systems, like the Shadowlands/Lifelands anima pipeline, and control things with robots programmed to do certain tasks. Even if they aren't Inherent Order/Arcane like Titans they do very very similar things.

They also have (probably intentionally) similar aesthetics.

It's been getting renewed around this time every year since 2017 -- probably not super interesting either way.
