because there is a screenshot doesn't mean it's the real deal, for all we know a lost leak page 1312 could end up being the one leak, and then would be the realest thing. If we had a leak similar to what happened with SL and DF, sure, I'd be ok with calling it the realest thing out there. But those 4 screenshots... are not that.
If they end up being the real deal, I'll apologise for how persistent and annoying I've been about this, but I will say it again: these screenshots are f-a-k-e.

I don't agree they're obvious fakes, but I don't think you've been annoying at all.

Differing viewpoints are completely okay to have.

Blizz being stupid, lazy or shifting focus away from WoW (leading to a lazier expansion overall) unfortunately doesn't mean that the images are fake. It just means the images suck.

I used to think so too, but then more glaring things came up like "Why reuse assets for an island that we've never seen before?" and "Why make the new biomes the same as what we've seen in the Post MoP setting?" Like how the first image looks like Stormheim, the second image with the blue dwarf/drogbar looks like a Frostfire Ridge, the third image with the harpies look like Vol'dun and Gorgrond, and finally the last one is basically Val'sharah with Ohn'ahran Plains with Troll Bridges and Titan Sentinels.

Like, none of this stuff is going to get people excited...

I hope it's fake just because I'm pretty convinced its real right now and If the reveal comes out and its not that my mind will be blown and I'll be so excited.

Again, I'd be excited for most things beyond the barebones "Here's 4 more zones, no new systems, no new race, no new spec or class, nothing but zones and 8 dungeons"

It's such a random collection of stuff though. Even if I feel compelled to believe in it simply for the removal of transmog restrictions.

Assuming additional classes get unlocked for dractgyr, what would you play? I don’t think I’d make another dracthyr, but paladin or druid might be cool.

I dont really like the dragon form not being able to wear gear, but if they fixed that or let us play in the visage id probably make a plate wearing one

Why better? I am sorry but at some point this is toxic positivity. If they fail to hype me for the next expac, that is not on ME. It's on them.

I mean you could say the same about DF to be honest. Maybe the decline in quality has finally hit the environmental art team.

Dragonflight came off the heels of Shadowlands though, and loads of people were excited to just have zones that looked normal, and was in a known location on Azeroth.
The pictures we see here just seems to imply we are going for the same broad strokes as Dragonflight again, which has not been done before either.

If the leak is real, there is probably at least ONE thing that is the real hook as the zones/expansion theme aren't it. What that is is up in the air but it would likely be a new Torghast, Brawlers Guild (just that would be sad), revamp, and/or player housing. Or a huge customization pass.

Ehh, yes and no. The Algarian Stormrider leak is about as specific a leak as we could possibly have gotten, and we got it way earlier than usual. It just wasnt a slightly longer text or image leak.

Oh the expansion could turn out to be great. Marketing is different to the product. Hype for MoP was very low. Hype for WoD was insane.

Presumably it would be a general continuation of the Dragonflight idea of fixing all the basic stuff by reinventing stuff we already had.

Honestly, I do only hope for the removal of Transmog limitations. I want more reasons to play alts.
