Not a revamp + the "new" models look ass and it's annoyingly reused. Nothing about it looks new.

Ooof I missed this but honestly it would be interesting, to a degree, so long as it gets reversed. We have examples of intelligent individuals in unintelligent races- namely in Northrend. Then we also have... less intelligent Goblin offshoots. So maybe we could get one like that.

Or even find a group of Goblins who never evolved and see what will happen if they devolve.

Even if 11.0 leaks tonight or tomorrow, I think that it is an achievement that 20 hours away from the reveal, we have nothing.

There was nothing wrong thematically with BfA. Just pointing out that DF was already BfA 2.0, and now we'd be getting it again.

If the Avaloren leak is right, we'd be going to a new continent/island that has 4 outdoor zones with varied environments and one underground zone. Sounds familiar? That's DF.

I can't speak for everyone else, but I associate the idea of Avaloren heavily with the leaked pictures at this point, and the picture in my mind is that it's basically just DF 2, more than any other expansion was a sequel to their predecessors. Similar premise, similar environments, similar characters, boat rocked as little as possible and a hefty amount of asset reuse.

Obviously it could be Avaloren and something totally different, but even though I've overall enjoyed DF, I want something more bold now. "Systems bad" can't stay in place forever because it was never the problem: poorly designed systems are bad. If the only options are for them to design bad systems or for them to never try and just repeat M+/raids forever, then that's the actual path to maintenance mode more than anything.

Whatever comes, the thread was an absolute joy of an experience, along with watching the Hype train from its humble beginnings to the beautiful monstrosity it is now
