So what are peoples best and worst case scenarios for Blizzcon reveals?

For me, worst case is Avaloren is just Dragonflight 2.0, vibe is immediately that it's just filler until 12.0 has a world revamp, and the 10.3 is scrapped just because Fated season will take it's place.

Best case is world revamp of EK with Khaz Algar as an endgame zone that compliments the revamped zones rather than replace them. And 10.3 was scrapped so the expansion could release closer to summer, rather than mid to late November.

Best case: Metzen does the reveal.
Worst case: Metzen is not on the stage.

Doesn't really matter what they reveal. The rest just isn't good at this.

Best case: Legion 2.0 but with Void
Middle ground: Avaloren with a Void, mix between Legion and DF
Worst case: Avaloren is a DF 2.0

Longtime lurker of all the leak threads back all the way go BFA, clicked more Eye of Azhara imgur links than I care to remember. First time posting though.

My personal gut feeling and full scame hopium is that we are going to get that World Revamp, and then the endgame max level zones are going to be Avaloren and Khaz Algar, something along the lines of revamped Northrend with the new expansion level cap and leveling being done in those zones plus Azjol Nerub, with Avaloren/Khaz Algar being discovered as part of the leveling journey, and that forming the end game zone/s, with over the course of the expansion more of Avaloren being discovered.

or revamped EK/Kali, with the leveling journey being partially in Gilneas and Silvermoon, under Silithus so on.

I also expect 0 new classes, but 4 or 5 new specs.

Support Rogue
Support warrior (Commander/Gladiator)
Support Offtanky Shaman (Earth Warden) (Kinda works like old DuDu Feral with talent choices either making you more supporty or tanky so can fill both boxes)
Support torment based DH


and then to retain 2 Support specs per Armour type probably some variety of two cloth supports what they might be I don't know.

I also think any new races will be allied races.

I dunno. Ion did a decent job I think. It's those pointless roundtable discussions where they pat themselves on the back with painfully scripted questions and answers that get on my nerves.

it's hard to come up with a "worst case" for me. It's not like, i can really judge, whether the features of the expansion are a success or not. I guess the "worst case" would be stagnation as in, there is nothing really new (apart from the standard). Same with the best case, it's not like I really want something really badly that just needs to be added.

TBF I'm always very careful with that nowadays because when Legion was announced all I could think about was "Broken Isles? Seriously? Meh." and it ended up being one of my favourite expansions

Worst case scenario is another "fairy/soft" DF type story..
Best case Scenario , they bring back Illidan and his badass / not give a fuck attitude. We bring the Titans back but Illidan turns on them , we are on his side and we are in a 3 way fight between Us/Void/Titans

The only thing I'm really waiting for is for the fake leakers to reveal their identities, I know some shit and I can't wait for some of them to face reveal/own up, especially as some of them are hype thread regulars. You know who you are, I know who you are, don't be shy now (after the opening ceremony).

BlizzCon will be hype regardless.

My worst case scenario is the exact same as yours. Avaloren would not only kill my hype for 11.0, but also 10.2. Why would I resub if that's what we have to look forward to...

Best case scenario for me would be a cosmic Light/Void expansion that basically feels like a sequel to Legion. I want to see characters like Yrel, Turalyon, Illidan, Alleria, and Sargeras be relevant again. And I want zones that have those awe-inspiring skyboxes that we saw on Argus.

Only one scenario for me: the screenshots are real, Blizzard overestimated the success of DF and doubled down on it.
