It makes sense if the island is druidic themed, which has been set up with Elun'ahir. They are transformed druids.

We've had New Continents, then New Islands, now we get... New Tree.

Interesting, I didn't actually know they had some lore basis. But this as a playable race? I wouldn't mind seeing some Tigon as an NPC race (like Sethrak, Venthyr, Kyrians, etc.) but it's a bit weird that they're going for playable race right off the bat when there are more popular ones they could choose from.

I have a feeling they will announce more than 1 race anyways. Maybe not but just a feeling I have.

Would be cool to have 3 races. Tigon neutral, Ogre horde, Vrykul alliance

Wow. First game is Overwatch 2 and they spent so much time hyping it up, only for it to be just one hero.

The same happened in Heroes of the Storm, they presented Orphea in Blizzcon 2018, and then the esports died.

I wouldn't mind furry races, but there's more established ones, I don't think I've seen anyone asking for them. Arakkoa, Saberon sure but I'd rather see something more established that people want.

True, though Orphea had good animations though, and being an original hero was a little novel.
