Wasn't expecting hero talents or class skins. Earthen AR isn't particularly interesting but it could be a sign there will be future ones in new content patches like in BfA

I'll say the hero talent thing makes me feel like they are going to have fun with letting our characters just become OP over the next 3 expansions before a total reset.

It's fun to see none of the leaks were right but all of the leaks were right except the Avaloren ones, eh. Even world revamp feels like it's kinda sorta happening one piece at a time, IE we know Quel'thalas and its environs will get redone in Midnight and Northrend, or at least parts of it, in Last Titan.


Also, gotta say Metzen did better than I thought. This man is just perfect on stage. Can't get enough of him after all this time.

They're not going to spoil their expansion's ending during the expansion reveal.

N'Zoth did not demand the empty Blade of the Black Empire for fun or because he likes blades.

It's because he knows it can hold powerful souls and he wanted a contingency since he knew the player would use the Forge of Origination nuke on him (DF confirms this).

The dragonflight cinematic and announcement were nice but actually having xhaltath as a villain and a actual direction for the game lore and why we fighting certain enemies gives me much more hype

the saga thing kind of seems like how classic bc and wrath were the Warcraft 3 saga
