Yeah, RIP. No new BG since Legion, and SotA was removed a while back. The gamemode has been abandoned. You can only fight on the same maps over and over so many times before you get bored.

They're both Light vs Void. The War Within is setting it up a full on Void assault on Azeroth. Midnight is dealing with the full on Void assault. The Last Titan is dealing with the aftermath of the Void assault and killing Titans.

I like the concept of the saga with them already having plans for three different expansions and the story looks promising and I loved the cinematics, but Earthen just seem very underwhelming as a race to me. For them to be the only allied race I think is my problem, sure if they added more maybe it wouldn't be as much of a problem but they seem pretty underwhelming as the main hook as new stuff for the expansion. I like Dark Iron Dwarves and Bronzebeard fine, but I don't know I just can't see myself being hyped by Earthen.

I think Humanoid Nerubian (and Arathi if they are different than humans) are planned for the end, but we'll see how it pans out.

Nothing is unfair, everyone has access to prepurchase and thus the early entry.

As somebody who partakes a lot in the economy during the beginning of an expansion, it can have a lot of effect in this case, also allowing for further player power progress initially. I don't think it'll break the game, but a 3 day head start is a pretty big advantage in a lot of ways.

I agree that the only part, for me personally, thats a major bummer, is the earthen allied race. We really didnt need a third dwarf race. Hopefully there'll be a side patch that adds nerubians.

So my one worry is that there's gonna be an Objectively Correct Hero Talent selection, even if we like the other fantasy more, if we play any serious content. This is the same problem covenants had.

Upside, this is ABSOLUTELY how they put support talents into existing classes, right?

Well, we do get different spell effects for some affected spells.
And Dark Rangers got mentioned.

So it's essentially a mini version of class skins.

What Im worried about is if this will force us into certain aesthetics. Like, if MM ends up favoring Dark Ranger as the "optimal" choice, will that mean all MM Hunters end up being Dark Rangers? I hope the aesthetic/spell effect is somewhat optional.

I mean we're going to uncover a truth about the Titans and a conspiracy and it's called the Last Titan. My money is on it turning out the Titans aren't even really Titans and have never been and Azeroth herself being the Last Titan and the last ACTUAL titan so all of the different forces are fighting over her to try and win.

So, chances are Dimensius is the big bad for Midnight, right? With Xal, the Harbinger, being the big bad of The War Within, and the newly added "Staff of the Harbinger" stating that Dimensius gifted it to her...seems pretty likely.

Those two seem more interesting, if the Arathi are different enough from Stormwind humans (Like Kul Tirans) and especially the humanoid Nerubians, I just feel like they should have added at least another option with War Within, but I like everything else.
