I'm fairly comfortable saying we will likely see this. Maybe Fated Season would be 6 rotations, maybe prelaunch will be 2 weeks instead of 3 so give or take 2-3 weeks but expect WW to launch in September 2024
    07-11-23 10.2
    16-01-24 10.2.5
    12-03-24 10.2.7
    07-05-24 10.2.9 Fated Season, 5 rotations
    20-08-24 11.0 Pre-Patch
    10-09-24 11.0 Launch

I was thinking we'd only get 5 month beta starting in early April but the fact that they are selling beta access means they will need space for all the extra beta waves so it might start a bit earlier.

Yeah, I also miss all the small panels, back then there were story, art, sound, system panels etc. It may be due to it being the first Blizzcon for four years, and probably being the first blizzcon for much of the team, considering how many things changed. Maybe it'll be back in future years.
That and he parrots that the game is bloated and unfixable. He thinks they need to wipe everything clean and remove all player achievements mounts pets cosmetics etc. How out of touch can you be?

    New interview, nothing too exciting.
They did hint at working on AI-based groups.
Brann in delves is a test for a larger feature.
Good clarification on that comment about faster content too- he was apparently just talking about the consistent smaller patches we've already been getting in Dragonflight, so there won't be big gaps in the story. I guess that must have been meant for the potential returning players more than those of us who have already been seeing it in practice.

Knowing that, I'd expect these expansions to have a similar length to Dragonflight.

A little conspiracy theory - the Algarian Stormrider was named that, and added early to the files, in order to make us believe that the next expac is Avaloren. "Storm" in Stormrider, especially in the context of Avaloren, made us all think only of the other side of Azeroth. And so far, there doesn't seem to be a really good reason why the Stormrider is storm related. If anything, it seems to be more generally Elements related, with other cutomizations (like fire) too.

    Not even trying anymore.
He’s always been stupidly arrogant. Even when he’s wrong he’ll try and explain himself out of it so he can make himself think he’s right. Idk why people watch him apart from the 4channers and simps.

Or it was just an oversight.

Algerian made people think of Khaz’Alagar straight away, which is exactly what we’re getting.

Oooh, this could be cool. Or even a 11.1 raid.

I'll be honest, I may be on Teriz's Undermine train for this one. Undermine would be a really interesting questing hub/megadungeon since we're already underground.

I thought the Royal Nerubian Caspa grey item was a big nothing burger in terms of expansion hints, but look at what we have now; if that was the case, the Undermine Clam Chowder from the Tuskarr feast can't be shrugged off so easily. If we're underground, we may as well visit, or have some reason for story inclusion.

It's especially stupod, since DF basically did that. there are no systems. just levelling and gear for power.

mega dungeon where we go inside the sword, lets go

What I will say is that they really need to bring the smaller panels back for future BlizzCons. Having just a single thing or two for your favourite game makes BlizzCon feel really, really small.

I loved having personalities like Michelle Morrow host guests in a sofa in-between panels, and being able to swap channels between different cool things whenever I felt like it.
The voice acting panel, seeing a WoW zone get made, or even something as trivial as a community-voted mount. Bring all of that back, that's what made BlizzCon feel magical for two days.
Always like the art panels just because they go into more detail on the look and feel. This Blizzcon certainly feels like it is a complete ripoff for people going in person

doesn't matter tbh. he will always have something to bitch about. yesterday was the raids, now is the overabundance of feelings, tomorrow will be something else. he hates the game and nothing will change his mind.

To be honest once the goblins found out about this area I could see them trying to knock their way through if it was nearish to udnermine

im super excited about their approach to outdoor / solo content. Something a lot of people may have missed was that they announced a new great vault row for outdoor activities (can be filled out with delves, world bosses, public events, etc). I think it's sick that if youre a solo player you can have seasonal endgame content that doesn't involve pugging. Looking forward to hearing more about it

That said, it's not impossible that Avaloren is like... gone or something, after the Ordering of Azeroth (Kalimdor). Maybe Odyn destroyed it, or perhaps it got locked in time or something. There might not be another side of Azeroth today. Hoping I'm wrong though!
Adding in places for future expansions seems a sensible move. I think they should just create a load of such places and drop books now and then just to flesh out the world, even if they've no intention of ever using them. Helps keeps people guessing about where we're going.

I think that row is specifically for Delves, no? Delves are found within the zones in outside content as far as I'm aware.

What things do you guys think they will add to Dragonflight to stretch it out? Here's what's currently in the game that they could use:
-Bakar (Centaur Dog) Mounts (encrypted but included within 10.2)
-Season 4 recolor for glad mount
    -Blue tint for Nelf Heritage

Here's some stuff that I think is likely:
    -Reclamation of Gilneas scenario
-Amirdrassil world quests or some kind of storyline in the final tree
    -Vakthros used for something
    -heritage quests for other races
    -additional Dracthyr classes
-Shamans for all through the Redeemed Primalists/Vyranoth
    -Tuskarr AR??
    -Broken AR/barber shop??
-Nelf Druid of the Flame barbershop option??

Fated raids are obvious so not including that.

It doesnt make any sense to move from Exile's Reach when it's so clearly a prologue to Dragonflight as the main leveling experience.

I'm very happy with the announcement. Obviously, I want to see more details, but they're doing a lot of what I personally wanted.

    - Support for dedicated solo / small group content. I even love they specifically called them delves, because I've long praised the ESO delves, one of my favorite pieces of content in that game. Also as someone who enjoyed Island Expeditions and MoP Scenarios, even Torghast to an extent, I think they can pull this off as long as it's content done for its own sake with its own rewards and not to support some other system (SL legendaries for example).

    - Support for casual players. This goes along with the update in 10.2 including TW and heroic dungeons in the Great Vault, and now outdoor content will be included. Tack on the catalyst and outdoor world events they've been doing, it's been great for players like me.

    - Hit on some old WC3 class fantasies. They've mentioned Dark Ranger and Far Seer, and have shown a warrior subspec that looks like Mountain King and the Druid Keeper of the Grove - all WC3 units. I wasn't sure exactly how they would do implement these (if they ever did), but they are and this is how. As someone who spends a lot of time on this forum, I don't think it's out of place for me to say this something we all wanted a lot. Whether we called it a "subspec", "class skins", "paragon class" ... whatever. This is how we get those long wanted class fantasies. Hoping these come with a ton of cosmetic effects.

    - Heavy account-wide reward system. Better late than never. Having had played GW2 and ESO, WoW always felt super behind with this. Hell, EQ even had a shared bank for like 20+ years lol. Glad they are doing it. Looks like they have some restrictions and it might not be retroactive out the gate, but I'm hoping they'll see people like it and will expand it down the line.

As far as the theme, seeing Nerubians is a great start. Xalatath looks really evil and her new model looks interesting as fuck. I hope they give characters some edge back. Metzen is such a legend, I trust him.

Exile's Reach canonically takes place six-seven years before DF and moments before BFA, it currently drops you off in the capital cities with a BFA themed cutscene. The only connection between ER and DF is the couple of characters that appear in the first camp.

They may be keeping new players outside of Stormwind/Orgrimmar because they look like shit, honestly.
