Or maybe she will force the circumstances to become the ones where the Void losing becomes possible, but that will require her becoming corrupted.

She did see with the futures beyond what the Void followers saw, so her using that to her advantage against Xal'Atath's plan would be neat, since the latter will most likely play on her initial fear of succumbing to the Void.

I obviously don't expect the Void Lords to be destroyed Kerrigan-style, but they will be banished permanently into the Void and will never again be able to threaten the physical universe (until Blizzard runs out of new threats to asspull anyway for what comes after the ending Saga).

But I would certainly expect to see some form of Yogg-Saron and N'Zoth (in the Blade) in 13.0.

Having the final expansion of the "first story part" of WoW not contain any Old God presence just feels wrong. The Old Gods have been with WoW since the very beginning with C'Thun.

But aside from Old God cameos in Spirit form (Yogg-Saron because of Ulduar, N'Zoth because of the Blade), I can't imagine the Void will still be a major player in the final expansion. Their invasion will be foiled in Midnight.
Yeah I have to keep reposting this, it doesnt matter how many times that part of his speech is bolded or underlined.

He does then immediately go on to say...

"Of course, blizzcon, it is Azeroth. Things may not go to plan, things may just spiral wildly out of control, leading us to.. The third part of the World Soul Saga, WoW The Last Titan."

Sounds pretty clearly, we may loose in some sense, leading us to Ulduar to call the titans back.

I wonder if we lose because we focus on Azshara instead of Dimensius, or Dimensius instead of Azshara. It would be pretty epic if the final boss of the saga truly is Azshara.

Not sure where you see all that talk. Nothing in this thread, one Reddit post, barely any mentions on YouTube channels I follow.

Void wanting to consume entire Azeroth is enough of a reason.
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

I think he implied it to the TITANS' plan. The Void may get banished, but the World Soul will become (or will still be, if it gets tainted in TWW) partly contaminated with the Void, which will make the Keepers (either Odyn or Tyr) call the Titans back.

Or maybe because the Light gets too much of an inch. We destroy the void, but then there's nothing to keep the Light in check. Leading us to call back the Titans, only for them to use this opportunity to fuck us over.

I personally think Alleria's probably gonna be the focus and a surprise bad guy for Midnight. After all, 11.0 is called the War Within and we already know she's hearing the whispers of the Void again. It feels like an odd choice to go from Xal'atath and the Nerubians, to suddenly the Void is attacking Quel'thalas and trying to expunge the Sunwell again. Until you remember the last time she visited the Sunwell, it caused Void monsters to pop up and try opening a portal to let more Void creatures in.
It feels like the easy set up and to bring in all the Elf groups that way, without having to outright doom her to death if it's a simple void possession thing.

Xal'atath is the harbinger of the void. How is that an odd choice?

I really don't think it will be us calling them. More likely for the Keepers (Odyn, in particular) deciding after the likely destructive events of Midnight that it's way too much and calling the Titans for "course correction".

If the Hallowfall crystal is the Light equivalent to an Old God, then Azeroth has been significantly touched by every cosmic force.

    Light via the giant crystal
    Void via the Old Gods
Order via the Titans and all their facilities
    Chaos via Gorribal
    Life via Elun’ahir
    Death via Icecrown Citadel

Her absorbing Xal'Atath's essence, knowing by her special individual visions that doing so will make the Void losing possible, would be great.

That's the conclusion YOU came to. It's not clear at all.

The conclusion I and others came to is that the Titans make their move and reveal themselves as the final baddies after we've removed the Void for them.

I think they may do this, but how will they present it to the audience? Because it would be awkward if Void Alleria attacks Quelthalas, but we or major characters know she did it because she would eventually be defeated

Well whoever it is I don't think it's going to be good for us.

Speaking of which, Azeroth in the cinematic doesn't sound like someone ready to be born, or to hatch or w/e. She sounds like someone who knows something, someone that's been alive for a very long time.

maybe it ends up being that, Xal,Idi and everyone else were doing the right thing only to find out once we go into the final chapter surrounding the intentions of the titans.

We start to have more and more people questioning the titans, not sure about Azshara tho.

How many interviews are out? Anyone have links to any? I saw the one about the new bg drom yesterday.

I think Iridikron/Primalists will be spot on the money that Azeroth was more or less abused and forced to convert into a Titan and that the world would be better off without them.

So I'm winding what exactly he will do that sets him up to die at our hands.

I think it would be cool if at the start of The Last Titan, Odyn calls Algalon so he can call the Pantheon and Algalon tells him to give us one last chance and gives us specific tasks, including dealing with Azshara, Alleria, Xal'atah or Idikron. This explains why we get the time to play around Northrend trying to find our target or targets. We succeed but Odyn finds a way to override Algalon and the Pantheon is on its way anyway. Then on the second season we will have to do something for Elune so we can summon her as backup if we need her.

Zidormi will just change the map back to TBC. The new map can be as big as they want.
