I like to try to be optimistic of things but yeesh the Elisande cutscene is mediocre at best. Maybe leaves a hook that there's some alternate version that won out I suppose but bleh.
And the Tyr one is also just nothing.

I wasn't playing during Legion, can someone explain to me what that was? I know Elisande has something to do with the timeways and that she has Tyr's disc. But does this cutscene take place in the present, or during some timetravel scenario? Elisande is dead after the Nighthold raid, right? So they obviously can't bring her back because that would be a time paradox right? Because it would mean she would need to go back there just to die.
Depends on what rules you set for the timetravel. Does she rewind time and just preserve memories of "if I had acted this way this would have happened", does she transport her body to the past and exist as her past and future self in the same instant and create an alternate reality? Is the reality we're seeing already encompasses all the timetravel that might have happened, like we cross path with a Chromie from the future many times.
They all have their thing that can deliver an interesting fantasy. But it should and must be contained in an ever growing world like Warcraft. And this is why I don't like Nozdormu getting all his powers back or having a titan mastering time magic, their powers are not contained and they will for sure go "yeah I knew all of this would happen and I chose to ignore it even though I have no valid reason for ever doing so but trust me it is important for our reality's sake".
Even Elisande goes "I could not envision this development and then carries on to explain how she acted the best scenario she was able to forsee in order to protect her people" and it will never be explained why she couldn't foresee our victory over the legion.

Ha I knew it..
Elisande: the power is mine!
We: can we please have it?
Elisande: No.
We: please?
Elisande: oke sure.
And Vyranoth not being there for Tyr.
Both were big dissappointments as usual.
Hoped for more, this was just uch..
I will say when it came to Amirdrassil, the cinematics were just crap but imo the quests around it and the interactions available where very decent. So I'll hope for a repeat.

We have nothing really to explain this. The end of the raid for her in Legion was vague at best. She helps us, but not physically. Is she dead? Not sure. We dont even know if this is before or after her death and we still dont have reason why it was there in the first place.
She only says: It contains knowledge to help her people, so only logial to think this is before. It all doesnt make much sense with no context. Its vague.

Wowhead is your friend.
Cutscenes are up. You see the paladins arrive and ask her to give it back. Its very weird..

Idk maybe a hint is that she talks still about her people. Her people are safe for a while now, as is Suramar.
Also, what possible knowledge did she get from the disc, that is relevant for us right now?, also with what I just said about the status of her people and city.
I have a feeling this will be one of those things that will stay vague. Just as Elisande her death.

Lilithvia Thread Directory| Go Utes!
wasnt the quest supposed to reward the silver/white dragon scales?

Cutscene quality aside, god do I miss Suramar. Please Blizzard make player Nightborne look like NPC Nightborne and give us more of their armor. It's so well made.
Also, little Runas easter egg :')

There's no follow up for the tyr line?? Is there supposed to be a part two?
That's my feeling too. After finishing the questline, I'm just kinda shocked that that's it.
This must be a casualty of whatever same focus shift caused Fyrakk to be the final boss of the expansion. There was a really big buildup for Tyr throughout all of the story, and we finally see him for it to just be "Hey, I'm back. Lemme figure out what changed." The Tyr's Guard is also pretty strange, I think a lot of their dialogue suffers from the same writing as the rest of the issues this expansion had.
And no silver/white scales is a weird one.
I think there has to be a follow up soon. If not, man what an odd way to end an expansion long storyline.
EDIT: Even Wowhead is a little confused about this being the end of the storyline.

I mean they already messed it up with Koranos and Tyr showing up at Amirdrassil with Tyr saying nothing and Koranos behaving as if Tyr went senile.
So I guess there is going to be a second part.
