While there's no hard evidence, there are some hints at it:
- The Drust story in Ardenweald seems weird, out of place and inconcluded.
- There's an "island" in Ardenweald full of Drust elites, with no use and with a non-interactable raid portal.
- The overall story of the expansion seems scrambled to cut out a patch, reuse things already made and still try to make sense:
It's supposed that originally the assault to Ardenweald was with the help of the Drust. We followed them, Sylvanas and Anduin to Thros (the raid tier we lost). There, we fight Anduin as last boss.
The HS event may be the most miserable experience I've had in WoW in the past decade
did you know there is a HS tavern model in WoW? Since 8.2.5

I'm tired of events that make me log on at given hours, DF is full of them. Just add daily or weekly quests like always which I can complete anytime I log in.

So I'm pretty sure I have the horss from the first HS event/promo, and killing shit drops stuff such as the transmog, pet, mount, HS toy.
What is the card collection thing all about, and is there anything significant from collecting them? I looked at the wowhead article on it and I just drew blanks. Felt like I lost braincells just staring at the whole thing.

Part of the reason is that Battlegrounds are like ducks.
This so much. It means that this is content for like a few weeks and then its over. It is not engaging doing it alone and you can't "plug and play" with these. There is 0 "plug and play" content apart from farming old stuff (which is also mostly weekly locked). Everything is locked behind timers these days and most if not all world content involves some form of waiting around for shit to happen.

You feel like this, because there is not too much too it. There is a gameboard toy and then you have 4 action buttons (common, rare, epic, legendary cards). Collecting the cards just widens the variety what appears on the board. It's also very gimmicky, so its just spamming the biggest button until one person wins.
I will not reply to posts that are non-constructive or contain flaming and/or trolling.
Which is a shame, because you don't need that much more to make it somewhat worthwhile. Add random cards from your "deck" into your bags each turn, choose which ones to use, and then have it be an autobattler.
It wouldnt be deep, but it would require a tiny bit more thought.
The world revamp dream will never die!
Legion = Dragonflight = MoP > Shadowlands = WotlK > Cataclysm > WoD = TBC > some bad chinese mobile game > BfA
Actually, Shadowlands would be better than Cataclysm without the initial shitty design of Covenants and the long content draughts, since Cata started great but had Dragonsoul at the end *shudders*.
TBC compared to other Expansions wasn't that good either, it's story was almost as shit as BfA lol.
Edit: Fuck it, Shadowlands was actually better than Cata cause we got lots of mounts. Changed that haha.

Nazmir and Drustvar were great, I'll give you that. I really hated the design of Nazjatar, it was super ugly, the Palace was pretty though and what I thought the propper zone should have looked like.
The story though? Ewwww.
They also wasted N'Zoth, Zul and Aszhara in one expansion together with Nazjatar and Nyalotha which both could have been Expansions of their own.
Corruptions were ok 'till they added that trader which made the boring % stat corruptions BIS if you wanted to min max, would rather have only stuff like twilight devastation which were atleast fun.
The whole azerite necklace was the biggest let down after the awesome artifact weapons, and of course they ditched the best part of that system (you know, the TRANSMOG?!).
They raped Sylvanas and it took a whole expansion afterwards to get her back.
Also they should have added crossfaction raids with the N'Zoth patch since both Horde and Alliance literally stood together there after the whole Sylvanas bs arc, guess that would have had saved BfA but now it's one of the best points of Shadowlands instead haha.

I honestly thought Nazjatar was handled wonderfully despite the lack of a proper underwater zone or sub-zone. It was also left ambiguously-sized so that they could revisit the concept of a "Naga Zone" when it was something they could properly handle in their own, more fitting expansion (Midnight?)

They honestly saved Azshara by freeing her from just being N'zoth's stooge like she has been for the majority of her time in WoW. A shittier writing team would've just killed her after her fight or had N'zoth kill her once he was freed.
