If PVP, Raiding & Dungeons are the pillars of wow, that means things that are completely independent of each other. You don't need to pvp to accel at raiding, etc. If it doesn't do that, it's not a pillar, it's a supplement.

Gear in any content is compatible with gear in anyother content. People do M+ to get gear for raids. People raid to get gear for M+. PvP was also part of that exchange.

Also: Blizzard literally does market research. They wouldn't make content around a game that the majority of the playerbase hates.

Surely they would not include it as the agenda if people vehemently hated the character?

Most non-pathologically online people actually enjoy the character, funnily enough, and the only complaints you get are Asmongold Subreddits or MMOChampion threads (both places where people who don't actually play the game gather).

Obviously, has to be taken with the grainiest of salts, but realistically, the only way to gather any type of information about character popularity:

He has a high/if not highest amount of fanfictions on most fanfiction websites. He has a high amount of fanart on most art websites (not as much as Sylvanas/Jaina/Thrall, but I never said he is more popular than them). People clearly create content around characters they like.

You certainly need to do M+ to excel in Raiding and vice versa. It's been a recent thing where you didn't need to do Raiding to get good gear/trinkets for PVP, and some classes still have PVP trinkets high in the bis list.

If you're min/maxing perhaps, but most players I know either love raiding & hate dungeons or vise versa. And that still doesn't excuse Ion calling Professions the 4th pillar for Dragonflight, then calling Delves the 4th pillar for TWW.

The 4 characters featured on your login screen are just the ones you play the most.

I don't think that is how it works. Thought I wish it was. Ion described a significant difference between an individual player's warband characters & non-warband characters. What about people who will want to do campaign quests twice?
