Ya whether he's your type or not - fact remained that Anduin's designed to be conventionally attractive and handsome. I'm a straight dude but even I can recognize when when another guy has traditionally attractive features.

But I think that goes for a lot of the main cast of WoW that are the more humanoid races - you dont see many characters of the main cast specifically designed with un-attractive qualities (Stuff like Bad teeth, a wonky eye, a uniborw,a big mole, a crooked or bulbous nose etc etc the list goes on) Anduin is no different, he's designed to look apealing

Ulduar was supposed to be a whole continent in old warcraft maps/chronicles, so we might get proper ulduar the continent, not the raid.

There is something very off about the features of his face in that art. Maybe it's because we never got an upwards shot of him in the cinematic?

It's the same mental gymnastics that people use to claim that "No, people *totally* hate Sylvanas! The only reason she is in the game is because of Danuser!!!"

From what I heard (third-hand) Afrasiabi set her on the villain path to get killed eventually, then got canned, and Danuser & Co. got told from way up high that they were not to kill Sylvanas - because these higher-ups knew she was way too popular, and that killing Illidan and Arthas so early into WoW's lifetime was a mistake.

Then why advertise Dynamic Flight as one of the new features? It's just misleading and scammy.

What was advertised was Dynamic Flying for (almost) every mount, not just the DF dragons.

Wait is Anduin not hot? I remember when the cinematics came the consensus was that he looks like Brad Pitt. I guess that doesn't impress you much?

Anduin could get more popular in the upcoming saga as its protagonist. The problem with anduin's popularity is that he's the main leader of the enemy faction to the most played and popular faction, and salty alliance players who want war stories of revenge against the horde don't like him. But Anduin is the main character of wow currently and the one that had the most characterization and both physical and psychological growth ingame. Other characters are just popular for being cool/edgy and/or hot.

I mean Alleria could become almost as popular as Sylvanas if she wasn't the enemy of the faction and playable race where most of thalassian elf fans/players are.

FWIW, I just rewatched the post BlizzCon Q&A, and realised they said both Quel'thalas and Northrend will be rebuilt and reimagined. I wonder what they'll come up with.

I have to admit, Howling Fjord, Sholazar Basin and Storm Peaks would be nice to revisit in HD. We kinda already saw what they can do with the Grizzly Hills in DF.

I think they will lean pretty heavily into Howling Fjord, and it will be interesting to see a third revision of Vrykul.

To be honest burning Arthas in one expansion was definitely a mistake. But at the time they werent really considering multi expansion arcs.

Twitch Rivals event for it tmrw and also probably the last time anyone will even mention Plunderstorm. Oh also end announced and double renown. Nice I'll finish the grind then this week.
