I think they're tapping into his mother's look. Most of her in-game appearances have had her wearing dark purple robes, so they leaned into the purple and black.

except they changed her model in TWW to reflect her responsibilities as dark iron queen

And they are sticking to character based professions. Of course no one promised us account-wide system there for 11.0, but still I don't have freedom there on my chars with established professions, cause any change would erase my progress in old expansions.

While this definitely sucks, at least we are getting an account wide reagent bank (at least for non-soulbound mats) which will be so useful. Or at least I am assuming that the Warband Bank will act that way.

Sorry, but I think keeping the option for people to complete achievements they've already done is a better choice than taking that away for everyone. Once again, it literally changes nothing other than "Oh no, muh ocd!" which is a personal issue that you might need to work on.

That is possibility. It could also be them deciding current progress is "good enough" and something must be saved for future patches or expacs. One one day they will announce "now you can learn all transmog tier on every class" and crowd will go wild.

It really reminds me of situation where DF Renown was marketed as having account wide rewards, which after Alpha turned to "renown has account wide rewards, BUT".

You literally can make 1:1 same argument with reputations (and it was done). Now, since you can buy all transmog on single character, just add option to buy recipe for warband and literally all people will be happy right? In that scenario only people with OCD would complain old reps are not truly account-wide, right? Right?

And again, I don't want take anything from people who want to repeat any achievement or quest. I even want to expand it - if you want repeat specific quest/achiev, game shouldn't force you to make second character.

I understand you perfectly and I agree. All achievements should be account-wide. If I did that achievement against that raid boss with one character I should get it account-wide. I did the achievement. That's it.

Professions will probably be account-wide eventually. I agree that the Warband Bank helps, but it is probably not enough, at least for me, to fully get into professions as I would if they were account-wide.

Also, account-wide quests is long overdue. My guess is that eventually they will do it, they are just working on the system that will allow us to re-play any questline in any character. When that is done, there will not be an excuse not to implement such thing.

If they use this destruction as an excuse to rebuild Dalaran even bigger I will lose my shit.

I think Dalaran is out of commission for a while. If they ever do a revamp, I could see it return to its original location or perhaps gain a new location altogether (e.g. rebuilding Dalaran around Karazhan).

If it is a neutral capital, I think Wyrmrest and ICC seem logical locations. Other important locations are imo too far from the center of the continent; Ulduar, Gundrak, Utgarde Keep, the Nexus.

I stand by my prediction on the Argent Vanguard in Icecrown/Crystalsong being upgraded into a full fledged city.
Though that being said, I could also see faction specific hubs like Wintergarde Keep making a return.

I currently lean into Wintergrasp being made into the new hub, as a specific pvp zone doesn't make sense anymore.
