I think Dalaran is out of commission for a while. If they ever do a revamp, I could see it return to its original location or perhaps gain a new location altogether (e.g. rebuilding Dalaran around Karazhan).

If it is a neutral capital, I think Wyrmrest and ICC seem logical locations. Other important locations are imo too far from the center of the continent; Ulduar, Gundrak, Utgarde Keep, the Nexus.

Dalaran returning to its original location in Hillsbrad would be nice. Though depending on how Midnight shakes out it might be difficult to justify it returning then, in which case it might be far too long until we return there.

Non-flying Dalaran as an expansion hub in Midnight would be neat though.

Content Creators + Journalists have been playing Alpha since Monday, but for most people not yet.

I currently lean into Wintergrasp being made into the new hub, as a specific pvp zone doesn't make sense anymore.

Not convinced on Wintergrasp, though it's certainly a possibility.
Wintergrasp would also be a perfect location to collapse into Harrowsdeep if Icecrown Glacier doesn't melt and reveal the entrance that way.

I stand by my prediction on the Argent Vanguard in Icecrown/Crystalsong being upgraded into a full fledged city.
Though that being said, I could also see faction specific hubs like Wintergarde Keep making a return.

I feel like at that point they'd just use ICC. Lower citadel quest hubs and stuff, upper citadel main city. Enable mounts/flying so that it's quick to get around and you can just use the boss wings for different city areas.

I would fear having ICC as a hub would feel too drab and oppressive. Also too scourge themed.

Maybe a return to class halls would be fun in TLT. ICC for DKs, Evokers in Wyrmrest, Warriors somewhere with the Vrykul. Etc.

I agree ICC would feel oppressive af. Wyrmrest feels like a better option although it'd be redundant with DF (I mean at this point a whole Northrend revamp feels like it'll be redundant with DF themes). Here's to hoping for a massive revamped Dalaran... :3

A city and/or a major character must be sacrificed for a shock value effect in every expansion intro... it's kinda of path by now, DF it was an exception.

Also, after the attemp of destruction of Orgrimmar and Stormwind, Undercity in BfA, Teldrassil for SL and now Dalaran, which city will be destroyed next time? Silvermoon or The Exodar? Witch major character will be killed for the "shock" value for the next expansion?

But in any case, Legion's Dalaran still exist, you can still use it.
