The green dragon book STRONGLY hinted that there are Lifelands that you can get to by going extremely far into the Dream, so I'm pretty sure Elune is a Life God that was either designed to interact with Ardenweald in a programmed cycle or took on the role somehow (upstart goddess, as Xal put it) like how Bwonsamdi became a god though Muehzala.

That is also how world souls/Titans are made and how the Twisting Nether was created, so I think it's a bit silly to try and frame that as "Elune is technically Light". You would have to extend the same categorization to fel magic and the Titan Pantheon.

Also there's a small but very important difference between "the life counterpart" and "counterpart in the realms of life". The second suggests that Elune's normal location/seat of power is in whatever Life's version of the Shadowlands is. Which would be a weird thing for a member of the pantheon of Light, when Light has its own plane outside of reality.

Well, we have naaru in the shadowlands, the light and the void variant. So, being in another realm might not be impossible.

Realms of Life is mentioned by the Primus and Gardens of Life is mentioned by a single NPC in Maldraxxus so they are probably still figuring it out. Considering the Harronir we will probably find out the real name this expansion.

I'm leaning toward Gardens of Life since that was mentioned in Maldraxxus in regards to invaders from other planes.

First two dungeons look pretty damn sweet:

Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.

it is but none of those have ties to the Narru like Elune has had multiple times now.

For all we know though the “realms of life” is just the great dark as we haven’t heard a peep about them other wise and likely won’t with them WWS. The emerald dream was the other likely opinion being the counterpart to ardenweld but that ship sailed.

As to her being of light, she could very well be a higher tier Narru or something else that was born with the Big Bang instead of a light lord which would make sense for her being an “upstart god” as she’s just the biggest kid in the playground but not on par with a adult.
Evil only wins when it spreads. It can cause destruction, it can cause death—but those are consequences of its nature, not its victory. Not its goal. The danger of evil, the purpose of evil, is that it causes those who would oppose it to become evil also.

I think it'll be 70/30 for split for tied/self contained. The patches recently have been very story driven and Blizz seems to be very focused on a larger campaign arc in Shadowlands and DF. The Saga will only stress that further.

Goblins/gnomes have always been a good vehicle for WoW's side stories however, so I'm sure there will be a good amount of that.

The prediction from a few weeks ago about Kaja'mite possibly being related to old god blood may be a solid reason to venture to Undermine, but something tells me that Gallywix and the Venture Co are maybe striking deals with Xal'atath and we will see some merge of Goblin technology with Ethereal technology.

Maybe something is wrong with the Coreway and it's difficult to get to the World Soul, so Xal has brought on Gallywix and Co as a backup measure to bore a tunnel to the center?

10.2 ED adhered to its most recent lore: it is, most likely, a reordered Life pocket realm that was pinched off from sort greater source of Life magic. The lore book speculates this (and they are always right) and the Nymue amulet given to her by Freya basically says this (weave Order from these wild threads of Life)

It's a good call. Let the dream continue to be mostly a copy of peak flourishing Azeroth as it used to be and could again be. But there can also be a Life realm where things are extra magical, overgrown, and alien.

I petition 'Greater Dream', as 'Realms of Life' just sounds as dumb.

We just don’t have enough Info to know and it seems unlikely they will come back to it after ED.

For all we know if they are sticking with the shards of light seeding life the big Crystal in the new zone could have been one of said shards and it produces a ton of life magic as well as light causing the un ordered ED to exist in the first place.

Watch the alpha begin at the same time as the release of Taylor Swift's new album, must be a sign

Any idea if we’ll get the rest of the class sets datamined later? Keen to see Warlock and Demon Hunter sets

It would be cool if it's something super primal and untamed as opposed to the suspiciously ordered Shadowlands/Ardenweald. Like they (Titans, Eternals, First Ones maybe) had to establish a partnership with Life but couldn't really control it because its impossible to do so fully.

It can. While Life is inherently somewhat chaotic, it isn't full blown chaos and can be tended to, so I think Gardens works just fine. Also helps differentiate it from Shadowlands.

It gets very same-y if they're all "___lands".

Yeah, so far DH, Paladin and Rogue are the winners (which is ok, the less elite sets I have to farm the better haha).

Some people seem pretty divided on paladin, at least when it comes to those winged shoulders. I didn't like it in one color but other colors its better.
