May've been the picture I saw, but they looked just kinda awkward, but like I said seeing in other colors has improved them to me.
But I am seeing a lot of people unhappy with the wings. To each their own, though. I'm eagerly awaiting the mage though I really hope I can get all or most the priest lookalike because god that one is good.
Unreal. DH, Evoker, Monk sets are killing it. The Paladin and DK sets are so disappointing, they are lacking the smaller coloring detail that Evoker and DH have. These huge bold saturated color blocks on the sets (specifically DK boots, Paladin chest, legs and shoulders) are just really ugly. They don't look like tier pieces. Thank god there is the Arathi set for the plate wearers.

I am a little disappointed by the lack of nerubian armor, as well as the dev confirmation that they aren't happening as playable in TWW due to animation difficulties.
Velen is not a good source for this. You might be misremembering what happens in Legion, but Velen doesn't even understand the Naaru in that questline. He thinks that the only way to access Xe'ra's core is by using her descendent O'ros, and then when O'ros dies he gives up. Khadgar is the one who brings up an old story about Elune having made the Naaru.
There is no reason at all to assume Velen has any idea what Elune is. He just suggested once that the might be similar, based on his own experienced with Naaru, something which Tyrande, her actual priestess, did not entertain.
Considering that Elune's power overwhelmingly manifests alongside dark rather than light (turned Nightsabers black so they could hide in the dark, gave Night elves the ability to shadowmeld at night, blocks out the light of the sun when manifesting her powers, turned darkshore permanently nighttime. I think it's a bit silly to take Velen's off-hand observation seriously. She is sort of, objectively speaking, a goddess of the night.
"Astral" as a school is a gameplay mechanic, but the game is very consistent about that being Elune's thing. Old Night elf priests uniquely used Starshards, an arcane spell. Tyrande in every iteration from WC3 to her Night Warrior ability set in SL, has used arcane, nature and astral spells. Fury of Elune calls down "pure celestial energy" dealing astral damage.
It is also a lore point. The Shadowlands Grimoire book mentions that the Priestesses of Elune use arcane and nature (again, Astral) magic to mend bodies when preparing them for funeral rites.
Demon hunters have little spider webs on their legs. Does that count?
Evoker is great. And i hope to get the pieces for my shaman and hunter. But you can't see the set on evoker... so minus points for that.
Monk and demonhunter look stunning considering its a depature of the usual design. They are very different, yet still recognizeable as class set.
I'm not sure if the Zereths are going to matter going forward, but I've thought that Elune was an ally or co-conspirator of the First Ones that helped secure their victory and enabled them to set the current universe in motion. Elune was allowed to carry over and serve as custodian while waiting for the Titans to awaken.
I think the Naaru are her creations wherein she attempted to force Order upon the Light and Void (thus giving Naaru their dual natures).
Author, Hekili, a priority helper addon.

Catalog has been updated, things are movin
Sometimes, the light of the moon is a key to other spaces. I've found a place where, for a night or two, the streets curve in unfamiliar ways. If I walk here, I might find insight, or I might be touched by madness.
I guess some "real" and deep datamining of files, icons, textures starts soon.

The Legion Velen plotline was so slop that I was amazed it wasn't a Cata quest. Velens long lost son NEVER MENTIONED son is introduced in a single quest, and then killed one quest later, and it is never brought up again after that.

Velan might have given up in legion but him thinking Elune is like a Narru then her tear being used in place of a Narru reinforces that he was onto something even if he isn’t there to see it for him self.
And even if he’s not the be all end all of Narru Knowledge there’s no reason to think he wouldn’t recognize the light or mistake it for nature/arcane.
she is but that doesn’t actually mean any thing when it comes to “the light” as only the cows see it as a actual sun/day related thing and it already comes in abunch of different colours like gold blood red blue pink, ect. So it fitting the night elfs silver blue isn’t an issue and who’s to say even dark light couldn’t be a thing or if she is some kind of highest Narru Mabye it’s void and she’s in balance instead of going from one to the other. She is objectively speaking, a goddess of the night.
the game is but the lore isn’t with things like the banning of the use of arcane and all of hight self society treating them differently, priestess of elune using her power and being well priest, Tyranda calling on Elune protection in books and getting a power word/divine shield, and the above Velan/Narru stuff.but the game is very consistent about that being Elune's thing.
There is next to no lore that treats it as arcane/nature.
this is like the one wow book I don’t own/have access to, any chance you could quote the passage? It is also a lore point. The Shadowlands Grimoire book mentions that the Priestesses of Elune use arcane and nature (again, Astral) magic to mend bodies when preparing them for funeral rites.
Evil only wins when it spreads. It can cause destruction, it can cause death—but those are consequences of its nature, not its victory. Not its goal. The danger of evil, the purpose of evil, is that it causes those who would oppose it to become evil also.

I mean, it's not the first time Elune = Naaru was hinted at.

Huh, interesting, they already have an ending for the whole Saga, a very clear ending supposedly, and they are already working on creatures and locations in TLT.
Kinda comforting to see that the pipeline is working
They also dodged a question about Xalatath in SoD.

Taliesin and Evitel interview with Maria Hamilton, mostly on story.
- Greater focus on continuity, specifically wanting less "dips" between zone stories
- Concept artists are currently working on TLT, world designers and artists on Midnight
- They have the ending of the saga and important plot beats already written
- Lots of internal discussion on not repeating Teldrassil again with Dalaran
- Don't want it to feel necessary to do anything but play TWW to understand what's going on, SoD not critical
- Lots of prodding about whether we'll see more choices in stories, seems unlikely
Oh just beaten. The first bit is probably the most interesting to me there since I was just talking about it the other day. Dungeons being integrated into the main plot now hopefully helps with that so you don't have players jumping between zones that may or may not have skipped the climax.
On that same note, another interview confirms they'll have specific characters for each follower dungeon. There'll be another dragonriding dungeon like the Nokhud Offensive as well.
